What will be given to the Bloc, a purely regional seperatist party? The main social value if the bloc is a Quebec that is a soverign nation, do the NDP and Liberals share that basic value?

Had I known I would have been. Someone is now tring to take subvert my right to vote for a government of my choice since the opposition has lost confidence in the government. So give me my choice to pick between there policies or another parties. if there is no confidence then its time for the public to give a new mandate to a NEW government.

Other then the 1.95 whick is now off the table. What was offered to the Bloc, why would they now vote in favor of this? What was offered to the bloc?

Really I would have would I? I wanted an election in 2004 as much as I do now. I like to excerise my right to vote, I do it every chance I get.

I prefer to vote for my governments instead of having back room deals done ot create them. There is no great war looming nothing that requies a swift change of government, we have time for another election if the opposition feels that they have no confidence in the current government.

I see no great crisis other then the Liberals can't afford to go another election.

Usually it is done because of a War, but I need to read up on my history (can't remeber everything off the top of my head) just to see when it has most often been done in Canadian politics. I know it was done in WW I.

The bloc would have a hefty price tag for them to support the coalition, after the defeat of this bill what else would be in for them, why hold up the coalition.

Aside form a few of the truely informed, they propbably have no clue or care to. Depending on the out come I would imagine that feeler or two would go out though to the energy rich provinces, just for the energy reserves, if things got bad enough.

Thats off the table now anyway, what we are seeing now is the opposition selling out the country to the bloc for a taste of power.

There are a great many in this land that have been alienated and selling out to seperatisits for power will produce a lot of venom.

No the real war has just begun, we have hit a historic tipping point in Canadian politics, watch things change, as people see the chicken littles of Canadian politics, (if there is a coalition gov.) scurry gab for their entitlements, and unable to change consumer confidence run up a deficit with unneeded government spending and huge tax increases to try to pay for it. The battle for Canada has just begun, and the outcome maybe several new nations in the world.

So here's the big question what would the NDP and Liberals have to sell out to the Bloc to form their coalition? Are they really willing to work with seperatists to regain power? Please Chrieten do sell the country out just one more time. If Layton had any kind of head on his shoulders he would have seen a huge opportunity in this. He would have been able to gain a whole lot of power from the 3 other parties change the name of the NDP to Labour Party of Canada and haveis party form a government in 5 to 10 years. For the prospect of a few cabinate seats for 6 months to a year. Typical though no forward thought.

What you accuse Harper of you haven't proven, the man loves his country as much as you or I, he has acted within the laws of and guildlines of what a PM can do. Also remember more then 62% voted against the liberals, more than 62% voted against the NDP, a heck of lot more than 62% voted against the Greens. So this larguement is flawed. Yes yes the conservatives can intoroduce legislation, if the opposition doesn't like it then we can go into another election over and the people will decide the issue. How much do you think a PM makes, I can tell you its no where near 30,000,0000. Extra cabinate, well how should any of us know government hasn't been given a chance ot really operate yet. Stimulus? Why? We aren't into a deep recession, why spend money now if maybe we really don't need to. Or do you like to waste money on giving to big corporations who don't need a hand out. Look into the history of food stamp programs they were discontinued by the left because the liberals thought that they were against a person human rights, and now we issue a cheque to people instead of food stmaps.
