  1. The position of the liberals is keeping the senate as it is. No change, no budge in the way things are. I don't have to be a Liberal to see there's no "real" movement in the party to abolish the senate. Should maybe try a referendum maybe on the next election ballot.
  2. Yeah?? Is that so? I don't see much of a movement to abolish it within the liberal party. It's not good enough, it's a waste of money.
  3. Date Net Asset Value (CAD) Investment Performance Mar 2003 $55.6 Billion -1.1% Mar 2004 $70.5 Billion +10.3% Aug 2005 $87 Billion +3.6% May 2006 $98 Billion +15.5% Mar 2007 $116.6 Billion +12.9% Sorry Jdobbin, but i can do better. Much better. My money is my money and your money is yours. Don't try to impose a shitty investment method on me because your just wasting my money and of alot of other Canadians. Hands outta my wallet Jobbin and i'll keep mine outta yours
  4. Why not abolish it? Is he on board for that??? What's his stance? As an MP he voted against senate reform before.
  5. Why doesn't Dion want some reform??? Surely he has to see those over-paid farts in Ottawa all the time. Dion earned leader of the opposition through a democratic vote. He should be on-board with removing these unelected tax burdens.
  6. I disagree with the your bolded statement, Do a little independant research on your own you'll find the Canada Pension Plan underperforms the market in many many years. Statisitcs Canada can help you on that one. You not only want your money to underperform but you want mine to as well?!!!!!!!!!!!! That's just atrocious. Hands outta my pocket! Privatize the thing and move society forward.
  7. Is all your pride you have because of someone else?
  8. Are you serious??? come to Toronto and see what crack does to you. Meanwhile leave sugar alone.
  9. I don't think you were. And i never said tax credits weren't state help.
  10. If it's too easy to answer then don't ask the question. You knew it already.
  11. Not alot of good choices here. Either go with the Chinese government(brutal people in most regards), or go with the Dalai Lama and his supporters(brainwashed ppl). Gotta love the choices.
  12. Your speech there was just horrible. Very little taken into account in both your attack of one party and your defence of another. I personally believe out of the 3 parties, conservatives leaders know best how to tackle issues such as debt reduction and tax cuts. Another GST cut would help me immensely in the near future.
  13. Yes I am. And i voted for them too which is a bummer. Did you know you can pay an adult child to take care of a child under 18 and write it off as a child care expense? Just a tidbit thrown out there. Smart keen people can tackle parenting without the state's help
  14. This sounds ridiculously to fix up. Made more so by the glaring error by Elections Canada
  15. Sounds like a waste of money. He definately screwed up with taxpayer trust of this one
  16. Easy to survive on $10 an hour. It's even easy to put money aside working $10 an hour. Us college kids make it look easy
  17. They shouldn't cap the money a political movement can spend to promote itself.
  18. Then i hope that happens then. I want the problem fixed.
  19. I'd rather ask him when he has a majority. Opposition parties won't likely be on board for stopping he Handouts to Quebec and the Atlantic provinces.
  20. Stop Equalization handouts all together. Atlantic Provinces should create their own wealth rather than whine for money.
  21. I like this idea. I'll probably vote conservative next time around if this is an election issue. Also depends on what Flaherty decides to do with the surplus.
  22. With issues like the environment, debt reduction and the economy you chose to instead talk bout trash like this??? congrats dumbass
