  1. Don't you live in downtown Hamilton? Hardly, and I wouldn't be surprised if many of those people are leary about having Six Nations on their side, considering general bad image that they bring to any issue. Just like with Red Hill, when they started going on about it being a sacred burial ground--if there were any burials there, it would have been for the Neutrals who the Iroquois conveniently slaughtered in order to take their land--and how it was Indian land. That ruined years of hard work by Friends of the Red Hill Valley.
  2. Id like to know how much garbage you and all of the people there produce on a weekly basis, and just exactly how did everyone get to the proest site? Bike, walk? I doubt it. members of Six Nations have made it clear, though, that they are not "Canadians" and since the problem lies outside of their territory, they have no right in getting involves; hence, what they were doing was technically illegal, was it not?
  3. Hmmm.... not willing to admit whether you've graduated from High School or attended university. Oh, I've seen some of those Six Nations "archeological" digs--it's a joke, these people know little or nothing about archeology, how to catalogue, date, and interpret any data that they claim to find. But to be honest, I'm not sure just what is so important about being present at an archeological dig, how does this somehow have a greater importance to a post-secondary education. Well, I guess looking at old bits of pottery and animal bone doesn't require the ability to read or write, so I guess I can understand why it would appeal to some...
  4. If you seriously think that "Canadians" have any more respect or sympathy for Six Nations with all that his gone on, you're sadly mistaken. I think given Six Nation's track record, the involvement of some of its members and sympathizers is probably something that those opposing the landfill had little choice in. And I'm sure Six Nations isn't involved in this out of any concern for what effect it will have on the lives of "Canadians" in general. And what I'm more sure of is that you probably had no involvement in any of it, rather just used it as an excuse to go out there and cause some more civil disobedience. I remember when Six Nations started getting involved in Red Hill; all this nonsense about burial mounds and the Red Hill valley being Indian territory--well, that about ruined any chances of saving the valley, and we all see what's become of it now.
  5. One other thing... I think I'm much more well informed about about early Ontario history than you are. You used to post some pretty factually challenged stuff about the claims that the Iroquois have to the Grand River Valley prior to the Haldimand Proclamation, denied and made up stories about the manner in which the Iroquois mistreated the Huron and Neutrals. You only know a history that you've been fed by the people you hang out with, and God knows what limited education they have. I'm wondering if you've even ever been to a university, or if you've even graduated from high school. I think you're not exactly in a position to question somebody else's level of education when you've demonstrated a serious deficit in this respect yourself.
  6. I'll tell you what; both of my grandfathers--I know who they are because the sired their children legitimately and supported their families through think and thin--were men like you could never be. They worked, they toiled, they suffered through unspeakable hardships that make what your Indian friends went through pale in comparison. And despite all that, they never abandoned their families, never became alcoholics, drug addicts, wife beaters, or common criminals. They made no excuses; never, ever made excuses. When they had their land and homes taken from them, they picked themselves up and got right on with their lives, because they had a responsibility to their families and society. In the end they both lived full lives, died moral, decent, good men. If I talk, think, act, and face life as they did, then I have nothing to be ashamed about. Canada owes nothing to Six Nations, they have done little to deserve anything; from the very beginning they have been unable to look after their own affairs, and worked themselves into a hole of their own making. What the courts rule means little; as usual, you will only place value in it if it suits your agenda. And just because the courts may now sometimes rule in favour of Indians, doesn't mean that the rulings are any less unjust than they were in the past. In the end, I guess it really doesn't matter how much money the courts award Six Nations; no amount of money can fix the problems they have; it will likely only fuel the problems.
  7. Oh, right, same old bs. If the government has been ignoring Six Nations for 200 years, then why has it been funnelling money into the place for who knows how long??? Has anyone actually ever calculated the amount of money that the government has paid these people all this time? it must amount to several billion, at least. By the way, has anyone figured out who really fire bombed that architectural treasure you guys used to use as an "embassy"?
  8. While I don't agree with the general anti-male tone of the article, and the fact that it will not directly come out and criticize same-sex families, I think this article is quite interesting. It further re-inforces what those of us who know that the traditional family is the best environment for raising children have long known: "the risk of child abuse is markedly higher in the nontraditional family structures." http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071118/ap_on_re_us/child_abuse
  9. Oh, great, jennies back--what ever possessed her to return???
  10. You need gayser's opinion as a guide, do you? I never said that you professed to be the first, and no, it does not piss me off in the least that you would make such an assertion. It only does yourself harm in the end. How about neither, and to spare you the trouble and time in speculating, no other form of mortal union. Christ was sent for one purpose, and one purpose only. Yeah, it is a natural thing and raised in a natural environment, the natural result will be the normal form of attraction will be between male and females. But I wouldn't consider civilization to be a natural environment, whether ancient Rome or 21st century Canada. Which is why people have to be taught to be moral and normal. I highly doubt it. Well, you're wrong on both counts. Okay, now you're taking cues from Rue. That's pretty pathetic. I highly doubt it. Nope. It's their choice that they continue to be homosexuals; if they suffer, it's something they've brought upon themselves. Well, no it's not out dated; it's just as relevant now as it was 2000, or even 5000, years ago. As for the dating of the Gospels, other books in the NT, it's quite certain that they were written within the lifetime of the people who witnessed the events first hand. Sorry, but the Bible is the most reliable ancient text in existence; it's devinely sanction, so nothing in it can be fabricated. Oh, don't get me wrong; I was just bringing it to your attention for your sake. I'm not picking a fight or anything. I have better things to do with my time. Although, I would win, so I don't really need to make an issue about it in the first place.
  11. Yes, what's next? Men greasing their members with vaseline and sodomizing other men and calling it love... FYI, members of cult's are: 1) brainwashed, much like people who engage in deviant sexual behaviour, 2) not Christians, because Christians don't join cults. Sorry, but the Bible is quite clear about false prophets, and people who spread false teachings about Christ. I know you're just mad at Christians because they actually have a sense of right and wrong and view homosexuality as a sin. But you need to learn that just because someone claims to be Christian while doing sinful things does not make them a Christian. I you, however, accept that to be fact, and make malicious comments about Christ, God, and true Christians, then you are only doing yourself harm. The only thing that bothers me about it is what you are doing to yourself and others who are too ignorant to know what the truth is.
  12. This totally misrepresents my conduct on this thread. Geez, that's really malicious. You're of course not the first to make this assertion, and I suppose you're just making it now to try and piss me off. Well, it's not working. The Bible is quite clrear on what happens people who make such false assertions about Christ. How so? Children are influenced by everything that they are exposed to as children, that's how they learn. If children read books and watch TV shows in which everyone has a tattoo on their forehead, how many will eventually grow up and want a tattoo on their forehead? Who said it just happens "one day"? Some people are like that. For whatever reason they allow themselves to become something that is quite opposite to the expectations of society. It manifests from what others have done to them, self-hatred, hatred of society, etc. If a 13 year-old boy is manipulated into a relationship with an older homosexual and starts to realize what happens to him is wrong, then obviously he is going to start building up hatred towards the outside world; and since he has been violated and feels no self-worth, what is his only recourse? To continue on in that lifestyle. There have always been gays, but it's never been "normal and natural" There are more gays because is more accepted and therefore more people engage in the lifestyle. Anyone who engages in homosexual or other deviant behaviour can make the conscious choice not to. If someone commits suicide because they chose to live a life of sin, then how is it anyone else's fault other than their own. Again, suicide is a conscious choice that they make, and is a reflection of the weakness of their own character. Hurling insults is not a good idea. You may want to not do it again.
  13. If there is a pedophile in a socalled Christian group, then they are not a Christian, regardless of what they say/believe or what others such as you say/believe. Pedophiles and other forms of sinners will always infiltrate where there are groups of Christians; that's how evil works. They set out to do what is displayed the opinions that you express; they want others to view Christianity in a negtive light, to not understand what it really means to be a Christian, and to turn you back to God.
  14. It was just an observation. I think whenever crime in this province is discussed it is always Toronto that is focused on. And like I said, "people of all races are involved in crime." But the fact of the matter is, crime and Six Nations is a topic that gets swept under the table. For the very reason you demonstrate. To really discuss the issue as it should be would invariably lead to accusations of "racism". As far as I see it, though, if these people want to be considered equal, they should be held equally accountable for their actions and failures. The people of Six Nations hold themselves to be a distinct group; they themselves consider themselves to be different based on race and culture. If members of Six Nations are engaged in a disproportionate amount of crime, and one wants to discuss the issue; how exactly does one do so without being "racist"? That said, perhaps if you bothered to read post #2, Rue, in an uncharacteristically medium-sized ramble, claims that crime rates on reserves is 3x as high as elsewhere. The fact of the matter is that Six Nations is a crime centre in Ontario, and this problem needs to be address--first and foremost by Six Nations community leaders who have absolutely no excuse for not doing anything.
  15. I recall people not accepting the argument that pederasty constitutes pedophelia, even when the boy is 12-14 years old.
  16. So how exactly does a form of sexual deviance that Christianity condemns be an "aspect of christian [sic] groups"? Pedophiles, homosexuals, and other sexual deviants who infiltrate Christian organizations and institutions are not Christian, therefore are not reflective of Christianity. Moreover, it's debatable whether any form of formalized Christianity is reflective of Christianity, since the Bible makes it clear that a Christian is someone who has faith in God and follows the teachings of Christ. That's a whole different issue, though.
  17. The relationship between Rene Schere and Guy Hocquenghem comes to mind; but to be honest I try to read much about gay rights activists, so I'm sure there are tens of thousands of more cases of gay rights activists who were initiated into the lifestyle through pederastic/pedophilic experiences. Again, I've never made the claim that all homosexuals are pedophiles. But pedophelia is an aspect of the homosexual lifestyle, and it's practice is labelled as "man-boy love" to obfuscate its true nature--as though somehow when gay men victimize 14 year-old boys it constitutes "love," rather than sexual assault/abuse.
  18. Sorry, I'm not confused at all; but coming from you who comes from "I'm lost" I suppose that's unintentionally a compliment.
