Thank you for your thoughts. I am only in politics because I believe in free speech and think the erosion of our rights does matter. These are words plain and simple. Just words. The power or lack of power is a choice of the individual. I will defend myself always. I know I am doing a good job for the GREENS. I have read more medical journals than anyone here outside of probably the doctor here ,that again would be "my" opinion. Also law , civil rights and much much more. When some one doesn't debate here or provide repeatedly asked for links and only lies or spreads hate (poison)they deserve to be berated , me included. I will and do back up what I say. If I am out of line for some reason other than being tooooo proud of being GREEN I apologize to those who didn't learn a long time ago about words and free speech. As far as talking about the GREENS and THEIR CANNABIS POLICY ,, SORRY ,,,, ITS WHY I JOINED IN THE FIRST PLACE !!! And my environment does need cleaning up as more crime , pain and suffering and abuse are going to be coming under harper Yes I do matter and so does the environment of the many many many I see daily because of my efforts or those who are in jail simply because of these victimless crimes the GREENS say they will help. They most definitely matter to me and at some point they did matter to the GREENS. The fact that I speak to people who think they cured their cancer with hemp oil is important to me. The facts about hemp as fuel ,food, plastics etc,etc need to be explored especially as it ties to so many of our other issues. Please do not ever talk to me again like you just did until you come to terms with your own discrimination with regards to the GREEN cannabis policy. Do you believe we over the last year have grown without the cannabis Canadians??? That myself and many others are moving to the GREEN party and would you honestly like the GREENS to remove this policy ? I will do and say what ever does not break the rules. I will run as an in dependant and continue my work on my own if some like you are successful in letting your seemingly fearful attitude infect the GREEN leadership, I already had to run twice for this riding's nomination because of others like you in the GREEN PARTY who hate that this policy is actually a GREEN policy even though they love their new vote power. I think it is a winning policy and just makes sense although I am a member of LEAP and other groups who actually deal with the casualties of this war every day. I raised the first legally approved resolution and got 5 more around the country to provide the grassroots support jack needed and asked for to be able to make good with his cannabis promise that caused the folding of the marijuana party into the ndp. We had canvassed all the candidates for the ndp leadership race and all said they would legalize. We were credited with 150,000 to 250,000 votes in the last federal election. I also was elected to go to the convention in Quebec City last September to help explain our resolution which garnered 83 % approval from the 65 year old average aged executive and would have given us the same policy as the GREEN Party. I begged borrowed and borrowed enough so that we had a total 9 marijuana party ndp members there and then we had the rug pulled on us on the way with a crony from jack then shut down on the floor in the first 2 minutes with almost rehearsed precision. We were treated like lepers and stepped on like it was prearranged. Back in our rooms rejected and dejected ,,,, I came up with the idea to challenge the presidential election only as a way of speaking about the issue to delegates who all knew the ndp had been trying to get these resolutions approved since 1972. For 2 days everyone chatted with me and there was a buzz all over the convention about it . The days had events full of lies by layton himself and the president. All the executive were to have won by acclamation and I was made to feel like a traitor. I lost obviously. I will take the second place finish and all heard what a coward they were seeming to be to the people back home. My efforts there do count for me. When I again stood for nomination back home I was told I was no longer an approvable candidate even though it would have been my 3 rd attempt at a federal nomination and I had already run in 14 elections(one provincial) within the party and been approved. They wanted me to sit on a drug policy committee and continue to be the hardest worker on other peoples campaigns as they had heard and please keep giving money and new people. my wife and I said if I was no good to again stand for the party ,,why ,,,,we were not worth being members as well. It sadly comes down to the who voted against it as 5 had given it the nod. As an ex real estate professional for the simple cost of a proper method this probably would have passed. I will be voting Green obviously as well but not til 2009. Again a vote for something ,, yes CHANGE. I just spent 4 years formally with the ndp very involved and what I saw and the mechanics of the process that I learned tells me something has to change. Something to empower people again. As far as medical question ,yes covering alternative forms of medicine and changing the rules for foreign trained practitioners to stop the associations from dictating seemingly racist practises.

It has taken 3 years to come to trial and the person charged is the one who ran in the last BC provincial election from jail. I was in court when his wife was given 17 months for her part and when statements from the mayor (now senator Campbell) and many ,many departments of the city were all called hear say and deemed inadmissible even though they proved they had the cities knowledge that they were going to provide the medical cannabis that the federal government was withholding. Everyone knew what was going on as they operated for 4 months with health Canada sending patients there for cannabis. Only because of people like you did they come with helicopters and swat teams at rush hour in Vancouver to smash it down. I'm not condoning anything I speak about the reality we live with. If some one as a doctor or lawyer or judge or school teacher or firemen and god forbid even police men can admit that they themselves have themselves tried them well then the issue of criminalization is and has to be the problem.
