  1. Well well.Just like I have been saying all along.Harper wants to be just like bush. And sounds just like him And to think this bunch of CONS spent 76,000 dollars to figure that out. Something two thirds of Canadians already knew. HIGHLIGHTS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OTTAWA–The Conservative government has been "too American" in its attempts to justify the Afghan war to a skeptical Canadian public, according to an internal report commissioned by the Department of Foreign Affairs. The extensive critique of the Tory communications strategy on the war comes from a series of cross-country focus groups conducted in November 2006 at a cost of almost $76,000. The study, obtained by the Toronto Star, found that Prime Minister Stephen Harper was "echoing" U.S. President George W. Bush in his attempt to explain why Canadian soldiers are fighting and dying in the country's southern province. Harper has drawn a link between the NATO-led mission and the 24 Canadians who were killed in the collapse of New York's World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. Defence Minister Gordon O'Connor recently described the the fight as "retribution" for the terrorist attacks. Public support for the mission in Afghanistan stood at 35 per cent in late December, the report said. http://www.thestar.com/News/article/182857 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maybe Harper needs to do a Preston Manning and get a new look. Like lose a hundred pounds and get rid of that silly tiny baby grin
  2. I do when Canadians are dieing because of American meddling in world affairs and bush doesnt even have the decency(not that he has any) to respect Canadas contribution to Afghanistan
  3. There is a poster on this forum who claims to be a military person. He has been exposed as a liar. This is what my tax dollars are being spent on?
  4. I think BayLee is refering to those hijacked jets that they never intercepted after the first attack in NY. imony regarding Cheneys orders to stand down... Thats exactly what I meant
  5. Exactly And right wingers accused the LIBs of being anti american Just look at people like Canadian Blue who say we should cheat American tourists of their money??
  6. So you didn't make this comment. I'm not lying, since you have made those comments. With that response, hopefully we won't have to deal with this behavior anymore. Gee,I think you have a problem. Other than saying pigs may be a better term for cops,as so many do call cops, where did I do so?
  7. Yeah... Just the fact that you made that comment shows how arrogant you have come off as on this forum. . Are you going to continue this lie?Where did I call cops pigs?? As for right wingers spreading hate? Well duhh. Thats quite the known fact
  8. I think that CB has a problem with lieing. He keeps saying I call cops pigs but refuses to show where plus the rest of his lies. IAnd he says I dont back anything up? But losers like him really matter nothing to me. Glad I am not him/her/it
  9. Well I am not surprised coming from you that you think because we treat people so badly then to hell what we do to animals. At least a person can say ..please dont do that,an animal cant
  10. All those planes being allowed to fly across America air space for so long shows he has a point.
  11. Name calling.Thats against the rules. You are reported
  12. The man who changed the world is dead Who would have thought his invention dates back to 1957. R.I.P. Robert Adler
  13. Hmm, I see the title of this thread has been changed??? Well YOU INTERPRETED WRONG ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In his speech to the conservative American Enterprise Institute yesterday, Bush mentioned a litany of smaller players, such as Bulgaria, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Iceland and Norway, as those who have recently stepped up their contribution, but not Canada ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! National security spokesperson calls his failure to credit Canada in speech `an oversight' Feb 16, 2007 04:30 AM Tim Harper WASHINGTON BUREAU WASHINGTON–The White House admitted yesterday that U.S. President George W. Bush's failure to mention Canada's contribution to Afghanistan during an hour-long speech – in which he spoke of the need for more NATO troops – was "an oversight." ?????????????????????????? Then you have the proven liar MacKay refer to bush ignoring Canada by refering to it as a ..... ""small error." A small error??? 44 Canadians have died trying to correct Americas mess and MacKay thinks it is a small error they are not thanked,or even mentioned? ""It's not an offence," MacKay said of Bush's choice not to single out Canada."' It sure as hell is an offence Then we have this little juicy thing... "MacKay said U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is "always" complimenting Canada for the Canadian Forces' role in southern Afghanistan," After MacKay was publicly humilliated by Belinda it is now obvious MacKay has his sights on bedding rice and it is no wonder he would make that remark
  14. In reality I seriously doubt that the American government planned 9/11. They reserve that for planning murder usually in South American and middle east countries. But in reality, the bush and his rice were certainly aware 9/11 was going to happen. The rice saying previously she had never heard of al-quida ( if thas is how it is spelt) So yes bush and his rice certainly helped 9/11 happen but didnt actually plan it
  15. Wel yea but you are the one who made it. No one else And I assume you meant insane
  16. I am still in shock that people think calling bush a moron as he is widely known as is a big deal but yet here he completly ignores Canadas contribution to Afghanistan and our 44 dead soldiers and no one thinks that is a big deal at all
  17. Well yes they did,and its not the first time either. This is not about cops making a mistake or the justice system failing. This is about police deliberatly witholding eveidence, having their main witness lie on the stand to get a conviction, about the cops out and out lieing. A man spent 13 years in jail because of these lies. As for the death penalty? Who cares about stats. The fact of the matter is that if we had the death penalty as right wingers demand, this man as well as others would now be dead. As for Canadian Blue who says... "if you want to go on a forum were you can hate cops go to copwatch.com. They routinely joke about police officers getting shot and killed and killing police officers so you might feel right at home if you believe all police officers are "pigs" as you eloquently put it." I have never heard of that site but it would appear you spend some time reading a website that hates cops as this is the second time you have brought it up. You mention someone spreading hate( sorry that is reserved for right wingers) but look at you, lieing about what I said, and again it is the second time you have done so. So an apology is expected from you
  18. So did David storm away mad or is that just another right wing lie?
  19. Seems once again cops have been exposed for the liars and criminals they can be. A mans life is ruined because of them... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "An inquiry's report into the James Driskell case blames Winnipeg police and prosecutors for his wrongful murder conviction, saying "what happened in this case is just plain wrong." 'Mr. Driskell is innocent in the eyes of the law.'—Attorney General Dave Chomiak Driskell, 48, spent 12 years behind bars, convicted of first-degree murder in 1991 after his friend Perry Dean Harder was found shot to death in Winnipeg. Driskell always maintained his innocence and his conviction was eventually quashed by the federal justice minister. James Driskell, shown in 2006, says he is happy with the conclusions of the inquiry into his case.James Driskell, shown in 2006, says he is happy with the conclusions of the inquiry into his case. (Wayne Glowacki/Winnipeg Free Press/Canadian Press) The inquiry's final report, released Thursday, says the jury in Driskell's trial was "seriously misled" on issues including the reliability of a key Crown witness. The report also said the failure of the Crown to disclose information to the defence was "careless indifference." The inquiry's commissioner, former Ontario chief justice Patrick LeSage, said in the report that members of the Winnipeg Police Service failed to relay important information to Driskell's lawyers before, during and after his trial. LeSage also said Winnipeg police Chief Jack Ewatski contributed to the miscarriage of justice by not releasing a report that he prepared as an inspector in 1993 once he became chief in 1998. That report contained information that raised doubts about Driskell's guilt, but it was not made available to Driskell's lawyers for a decade. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If right wingers had their way,Driskell would have been executed years ago
  20. Gee,still waiting to read where someone says what a moron bush is for ignoring Canadas contribution( deaths and expense) for helping to clean up the mess America has made
  21. Well said BM. And speaking of violating rules. It seems some people take exception to calling a well known moron a moron but yet this is OK... "The better thread title would be 'Why is baylee such an idiot'? just a thought." http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index.php?showtopic=8074
  22. You see what I mean. You compare killing an animal for food to suspending a bear in a cage or stuffing dogs and cats in bags to live their lives.?
