American Soldier Gets Next To Nothing For Murder
BayLee replied to BayLee's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Well second question first. No one. But I am sick of reading day after day right wingers accusing the courts of being dominated by LEFTIE judges and the LEFTIE justice system in Canada that allows criminals to walk free I am sick of right wingers constantly saying this used to be a great country when the fact of the matter this country has almost always been governed by the Liberals and indeed this IS A GREAT COUNTRY,even though right wingers like to think otherwise As for the first question. I hold very dear my marriage and the fact that I live in a wonderful country like Canada. And I have a fantastic mortgage free home in the country. And I have lots of wonderful animals I can be happy no matter who the government is because no matter who is in power it affects my life not in the slightest because I have quite the secure life. But as I said,I get so sick of people constantly whinning and complaining when we here in Canada have it better than most people in the entire world. So maybe this soldier was given a fair trial. But so does everyone in Canada -
People like you seem to forget the words of the man you seem to idolize and can do no wrong.. "You are either with us,or you are against us" You either condem a RCMP cop who is into kiddie porn,or you approve Or how often as I said do you see posters on this forum say you are a friend of terrorism if you are against the occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan
-
I also find it interesting how right wingers on this forum and right wingers in general have no problem accusing people who are against war and against bush as being terrorist lovers and friends of the TALIBAN
-
I accused you of being a pedophile? Excuse me? You are the one who should be gone for once again lieing about what other posters say

Libs were right. Harper giving money to people to spend on beer popcorn and a dvd rental. And a trip to Disneyland Looking at Harper I would say he has been indulging in beer and popcorn

Well no one has said bush planned 9/11 As for knowing about it. Wrong again. People say if he and his rice did not ignore what was basically shoved in their face, that this attack was coming,it may not have happened -

You people are something else. You show not the slightest bit of concern that the Canadian soldiers blew away a man with mental illness? A man who was begging? Rather you attack me because you claim I didnt post a link, when in fact I did A beggar who uses chord, wire to keep his clothes on And all you are concerned about is me not posting a link to the story? Calling me a coward because I didnt? When in fact I did. So much for your concern for the innocent victim here -
They are the most hated country in the world.Their leader is considered by people around the world to be the biggest threat to the world. The meddling of the U.S.has cause major problems everywhere Just look at what 9/11 has done to world economies and airlines ( thank you America) But yet they carry on with their agenda to bully the world to do as they wish.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ February 18th, 2007 1:41 pm Tens of thousands in Italy protest expansion of U.S. military base Plan would increase military presence at Ederle base to 5,000 Associated Press Tens of thousands of people marched through the northeastern Italian city of Vicenza under heavy police guard yesterday to protest a planned expansion of a U.S. military base. February 18th, 2007 1:41 pm Tens of thousands in Italy protest expansion of U.S. military base Plan would increase military presence at Ederle base to 5,000 "The U.S. should not build military bases, the U.S. should think of its domestic problems," said John Gilbert, an American living in Italy for the past 25 years who was in a group of about 20 Americans who had traveled from Rome and Florence. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ But let us not forget. WAR and WMD make for a better U.S. economy

I dont think anyone( but you maybe) has said bush was behind 9/11 What people say,and that includes the majority of Americans,is that the American government was RESPONSIBLE for 9/11 because of its foreign policy and that the fact bush and his Rice completly ignored all the warnings that an attack was coming. I hope you can see the diff I mean really, bush is a stupid clutz, how could he possibly have planned such a thing? -
Can you think of a social program that is not abused by some people? I can't. Do you get as exercised about:1) People who refused to work more than the minimum number of weeks required to get EI in martimes 2) People living in million dollar homes collecting GST rebates MSP premium exemptions because all of the family income is over seas and not reported. Do you believe we should cancel the EI, GST rebate and MSP premium exemption because some people appear to receive the benefits unfairly. That is the logic you are using here. What we need to do is allow people to employ their own spouses as daycare providers and to claim the child care costs as a deduction. This would eliminate the discrimination against single income families that exists in the current system. As long as the system discriminates against single income families you will see people demanding programs that help single income families. Does it ever end with you people? You always fall back on the old tired.. "well they do/did it,so can we \ This handing out 100 dollars a month a kid to people who simply dont need it and have no interest in day care is a joke. But so is that overweight Harper
-
They sure as hell do not. Alberta has already taken a step back to 40 years ago when kids with autism and other learning disabilities were forced into their own segregated schools. Schools that "normal" kids called the dummy schools, along with several other un flattering names My sweets works with autistic children and I can see the positive affect it has on them having them in regular schools with "normal" children But the right wingers want them out. They have no problem with healthcare dollars being wasted on hangnails and ear aches but not for helping learning disabled children..

All she said was that she was ashamed that bush was from Texas. My God. That is hardly lecturing anyone on politics

The link? Yea,on the morning news on TV this morning I see Baylee did not answer the question - a coward? or no response because it was not something to be of interest? More smears and more innuendo - time to write this one off. Borg Well yes,I did answer the question. The link was it was on the news this morning. Not of interest? I see you care less that some mentally ill poor man who was just begging was blown away by Canadian soldiers. That is no smear Write it off? Of course, you war mongers dont want to hear about innocent people being blown away by our soldiers. And I am sure if the CONS and Hartper and the Canadian military have there way, indeed it will be written off. Oh by the way, calling me a coward was name calling. So it is being reported -
Hey,Remember This Other Lie?
BayLee replied to BayLee's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Well actually daddy bush knew full well the incubator story was a hoax but chose to use it in a speech because he knew it would drum up support to invade Kuwait. And baby bush was told the inteligence was wrong about Iraq but yet because it worked well with his agenda he used it in his State of the union speech knowing it was false, because he knew it would help with his agenda. Both repeated things they knew were false. Both bush,s lied the country into conflict Clinton lies about geting a blow job and right wingers think its the worst thing that ever happened in politics -
And you thought the Saddam has WMD lie was a biggie. Remember this other American lie, that also came from a man(?) named bush? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ THE KUWAIT INCUBATOR BABY HOAX A key event in generating momentum for the first U.S. War on Iraq, "Operation Desert Storm" was a fraudulent report of the murder of Kuwaiti babies by Iraqi soldiers. On October 10, 1990, the U.S. Congressional Human Rights Caucus held a hearing on the subject of Iraqi human rights violations. The centerpiece of the event was the emotional testimony of a 15-year-old Kuwaiti girl, known only by her first name, Nayirah. Her full name was supposedly being kept secrect to protect her from Iraqi reprisals. The girl relayed a shocking story while sobbing. I volunteered at the al-Addan hospital. While I was there, I saw the Iraqi soldiers come into the hospital with guns, and go into the room where . . . babies were in incubators. They took the babies out of the incubators, took the incubators, and left the babies on the cold floor to die. The massacre never occurred. The girl was actually the daughter of a Kuwaiti emir, and had been coached by the public relations firm Hill and Knowlton to give persuasive false testimony. In fact, the most emotionally moving testimony on October 10 came from a 15-year-old Kuwaiti girl, known only by her first name of Nayirah. According to the Caucus, Nayirah's full name was being kept confidential to prevent Iraqi reprisals against her family in occupied Kuwait. Sobbing, she described what she had seen with her own eyes in a hospital in Kuwait City. Her written testimony was passed out in a media kit prepared by Citizens for a Free Kuwait. ... Three months passed between Nayirah's testimony and the start of the war. During those months, the story of babies torn from their incubators was repeated over and over again. President Bush told the story. It was recited as fact in Congressional testimony, on TV and radio talk shows, and at the UN Security Council. "Of all the accusations made against the dictator," MacArthur observed, "none had more impact on American public opinion than the one about Iraqi soldiers removing 312 babies from their incubators and leaving them to die on the cold hospital floors of Kuwait City."

American Soldier Gets Next To Nothing For Murder
BayLee replied to BayLee's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Yea I sure am.This guy along with his pals dragged this older man out of his house then murdered him. The soldiers lied about how the man was killed. And he gets 8 years to be served on the base. Like I said. And people say criminals get off easy here in Canada -
As a wise man said and was ridiculed for... BEER AND POPCORN
-
And Canadians complain that criminals get off easy in Canada. 8 years for murder,to be served in the comfy confines of a military base? Once again the Americans show what they really think of the Iraqi people ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CAMP PENDLETON, California (CNN) -- A U.S. Marine will serve no more than eight years in prison in connection with the killing of an Iraqi civilian, a Marine Corps spokesman said Saturday. Pennington agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy to commit premeditated murder and kidnapping, and to a kidnapping charge. Other charges he faced were dismissed at sentencing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ But still,Canadian soldiers, who already have a bad reputation should take notice that American soldiers, after LIEING about why they killed civillians, are being found out as the liars they are and are being charged
