  1. Yeah go and pout little boy....agaric won't agree with your warped point of view so he gets to go on your ignore list ...how immature is that? Time to grow up little boy and see the world through the eyes of informed adults and not through what Fox or Global tells you what to see.....
  2. Just because this board is populated by a majority of knuckledraggers doesn't mean most Canadians agree with your point of view
  3. Maybe you haven't noticed, but the Libs are polling only 3-4 points behind the con(s) ( artists) so how do you come to the conclusion that they will come in third in the coming election? Wishful tninking won't make it so
  4. BULLSEYE!!!! well put xul
  5. Seems like Bush wasn't too keen to support our claim either when he rambled something about international waters.... We may have to let the Americans have some of it to gain their full support ( which of course will be much more acceptable than letting the Russkies have it)
  6. Another asinine post..... Do tell which 3rd country has veto power? Only countries which veto power have any REAL power in the UN and those are who again?
  7. Exactly! Finally an intelligent comment
  8. Right you are and lets not forget the foray into Syrian airspace by the Israelis....it's all about testing the defenses and resolve of the other
  9. And I bet you'll volunteer to do the smacking huh? Good grief what nonesense Did you know that most countries who have a huge military do that to test the defenses? get some information before you spout such ignorance
  10. . You'll be hard pressed though, to find someone interested in investing in a North American auto company or something along those lines. Daimler Chrysler comes to mind.....you don't read much do you?
  11. It never fails to amaze me how arrogant some Albertans are . I've seen the same attitude in the seventies. Want to guess how long that lasted?
  12. Spoken like a true blue Albertan....more hick than savy... makes one shudder such attitudes still exist
  13. You're forgetting that it wasn't supposed to be like it is today... awolBush and his handler Cheney figured it would be a cake walk ( remember the famous theatrical " mission accompished" ) In all honesty did you ever in you wildest dreams think that the mighty US military could be fought to a seven year war by a rag tag band of Iraquis? If the US could have won the war in 6 month the oil would have been very cost effective but as foolish wars tend to make a mockery of the best laid plans it turned out very different as we now know.
  14. LOL now that is funny....the redneck Neanderthals who inhabit that riding vote Liberal? Geoffrey you being sarcastic now
  15. Sure they did....just count all the little dirty wars the hegemon had to fight to stay on top.... now that the overweight and intellectually lazy Yanks voted in the team of Bush ( awol) and Cheney ( 5 deferrments ) as their leaders is it any wonder the " Empire is showing cracks?
  16. From who? Harper is constrained by his own law about when he can call an election. The Opposition might decide to go but why would the BQ pass up the sweet deals it gets in every budget? Harper is not seen by Canadians as being the person to vote in for a majority. *Every* single poll from the election to today has repeated that mantra. The last several week of Parliament saw the Opposition setting the agenda. Harper is going to have to come up with a plan that doesn't go south like his last budget.
  17. [ The Liberals are a political party that should be banned in Canada. what an assinine remark !
  18. Harper is scawy scawy alright...did you get a load of him in that flak jacket with his well fed belly hanging out? how scawy was that ?
  19. what is boring is the accusation that the lefties hate the cons.... it's the old neo-con trick of if you don't like our policies you're anti american to question the government is our right and only brainwashed idiots will call that" despising the government"
  20. Well hell, who gives a crap about "worldwide polls"......being loved that way is a Canadian value, and of no concern to American presidents. US citizens do not elect presidents to please the world.....just ask John Kerry. sitting at 28% approval really shows the love eh? even the Yanks finally woke up to the "liar in chief" ( excepting you of course)
  21. 'Tis better to have been president for two terms and "hated", than never to have been president at all. (With apologies to Sir William) Besides, the most "hated" president in modern times was Jimmy Carter and his "Misery Index". That is debateable....most worldwide polls show Bush in the lead ..by a mile...maybe if he would lose that idiotic smirk and learn to put a proper sentence together it might help his image...
  22. Rep. Ron Paul will have plenty of time for more "writings", as he is certainly not going to be elected president. In the mean time, President Bush will finish his second term. So he will, as the most hated president in modern times....
  23. That is the key. People can go after the Conservatives all they want, but they are the greenest Government we have had. and so speaketh the faithful the one whose blinders are preventing them from seeing the big picture... is that why Harper is plummeting in the polls because he is the greenest Government we ever had? or could it be that he's the most flip flopping government we ever had?
  24. @mikedavid00 Here is some advise from a truly great American Mark Twain Cheers
