  1. What does this have to do with Christians and Muslims killing Christians?
  2. Think big picture.
  3. I have a question for you guys: historically, who is better at killing Christians: Muslims; or Christians?
  4. Well, I may have been mistaken to say " never " , but by the time of the founding of Islam, was Rome not more properly where the " action " in Christendom happened?
  5. I am talking about more recent history. I do not think it would strain logic to suggest that Muslim immigration to Europe began in earnest when those Muslims were in fact moving within various European empires, i.e. Algerians and Lebanese moving into France, Egyptians and Palestinians into Britain, et cetera. That is what normalized emigration. Edit: And the Levant was never the heartland of Christianity. The heart, but not the heartland. Heartland is more a geographic term, I would argue, and the Middle East is on the fringes.
  6. You have it backwards. Europe made it into the Middle East before the Middle East made it into Europe.
  7. One of the popular rhetorical sayings of hawkish commentators on the conflict in Afghanistan is, " We have to fight them over here or else we will be fighting them here. " This is completely backwards. If you want to defeat Islamism, you have you be able to do it in your own strongholds if you hope to be able to do it in theirs. And doing it in theirs is necessary in the long term.
  8. I do not think world-wide Islamism is a viable solution, so there goes your theory.
  9. You are a fool. I am not concerned primarily with the end of Western civilization; I am concerned with the end of ALL civilization.
  10. No, I am not more concerned with political correctness. I am concerned with the end game; as in the end of civilization.
  11. If you are going to allow your xenophobia to dictate policy, why not just introduce such screening for Muslims? We all know those are the people you are really concerned about. Among all the other things you might think I would complain about here, on this I will not mince words: if you hold this view you are an idiot. What about other kinds of indoctrination? And what do you plan to do about the Islamist in Muslim countries? Are you really so dense as to think that if you put them somewhere else and forget about them all the problems will go away?
  12. Uh-oh... should I dare admit that I have probably for most of the time I seen you there thought you more likely to be the Queen of Typos? Perhaps I am the King of Misreading...
  13. Man up and tell us what you think is necessary, instead of whining about you think I think.
  14. So, Bob, what is your " solution " to the " Islamic problem " seeing as you have already suggested that coverts are often the most hardcore Islamists?
  15. I suppose that was rather inconsiderate of me.
  16. Is this discussion happening again, seriously? Can we not just accept that it died years ago?
  17. It appears that the discussion on genocide started on Page 1, and is still going on Page 21. Not sure I can to check if that is what everything in the middle was. Note that a lot of people from the early discussed were at some point Banned. I think this thread could be improved by finally dropping the genocide argument and discussing the OP, which was what North America was actually like before colonization. There is a Wiki article on the book jpg read at this point: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1491:_New_Revelations_of_the_Americas_Before_Columbus
  18. Cite? I am sure that with the law in hand I can show it does not mean what you think it does. You still have no idea what the word destruction means. Are you sure you are not a monkey on a typewriter?
  19. Dead people created all cultures, and yet the living get the job of propogating them. Sounds real fair.
  20. If you are going to argue that Toronto was previously a " White " city, then it makes perfect sense that the people for whom its charms have worn off are going to be the people who have lived there their whole lives.
  21. Why does the population of Toronto matter, in any case? People who move away from Toronto usually do because the size, hustle and bustle has worn on them, or because they find work elsewhere, not because the city sits at the end of the rainbow.
  22. That is lousy argumentation. If you cannot find a company that could obviously have a bad effect on you, or if you cannot refer to the ways in which the companies you cite could have a bad effect on you, then do not bother trying to make an analogy at all.
  23. That is not generally how sniping works.
  24. Way to care about the safety of our snipers and those of our allies.
  25. Tim is correct, but I do not think that the situation at hand is one of strong vs. weak federal government. In a sense, it takes a very strong central government to take the country down the path of insolvency despite evidence that this would be uttely ruinous.
