What I keep on saying, over and over again, is that the "global warming" events allegedly occur in remote areas where measurements are questionable and there is no real history to show the past. Does anyone really know what the weather in Coppermine/Kugluktuk, Northwest Territories, Canada was a century or two ago? Yet we're told that most warming has occurred in the high latitudes. My theory is they tell us that in order to deflect from the fact that weather in places like New York City, San Fransisco, Chicago or London is similar to the past.
Don't forget about UHI.
