  1. Who do you think, genius? Try reading my entire post if youre having trouble with it.
  2. Most Canadians disagree with you. Most Canadians Diaagree With Khadr Deal The decision to settle this case was not made with the best interest of Canadians in mind, it was not made by Canadians. The decision to settle with Khadr instead of bringing it before the scrutiny of the court was Justin Trudeau and the liberal party. I dont know if this is going to impact his popularity or not, but one thing's for sure regardless...Trudeau is going to be wearing it.
  3. The supreme court ruled that his rights were violated by an improper interrogation carried out by the Canadian government and CSIS, there was nothing in their ruling that said he was entitled to compensation.
  4. Would it have been so bad to bring his compensation case before a Canadian court? What bad could possibly come from shedding light on what happened according to the legal system...not innuendo and rhetoric..but actual fact, and coming to an equitable judgement? Maybe Omar was owed more from the Canadian Government...maybe Trudeau screwed him out of what he should of actually collected from us. Maybe light would have been shed on the mistakes made by previous Governments...all of them... including the Conservatives. We could have then acknowledged our mistakes and moved forward with a concerted effort to avoid these mistakes in the future, as determined by a court of law. Instead we move forward by hiding the skeletons and avoid confronting our mistakes by paying for silence to avoid accountability.
  5. Not all of us...you don't. You think he was compensated because he was he was charged by a bogus court, which is untrue, because he was held without access to legal representation, which is untrue, and because he was tortured, which is in true.
  6. It would be interesting to know what would have come out if this case had been argued in court, it's curious to wonder what the Trudeau Liberals are trying to hide by paying Omar off and trying to make this go away instead of putting certain people on the stand under oath and getting to the bottom of what he is really owed through the eyes of a court. Unfortunately, we will never know. This is nothing more than another Liberal Government trying to keep from shedding light on something they don't want to open up for public scrutiny. I don't buy for one single second that this is about Trudeau trying to be fiscally responsible with taxpayer money and avoid a bigger payout if litigated, as he has said. Since when has Trudeau had any respect for taxpayer money? He just spent another quarter of a billion dollars on global family planning, including a fat 20 million dollar donation to the Clinton Foundation of all things. It's painfully obvious this clown has zero problem throwing loads of money at whatever he feels like, the more the better. This lawsuit should have gone to court and been decided by a judge, even if it would have ended up costing twice as much.
  7. Facts do not matter one iota to this person.
  8. We didn't compensate him because his dad corrupted him. His charter rights were not violated because his dad "took him down this path". You have chosen not to accept this so I realize I'm talking to a brick wall, but it was determined that his charter rights were violated by improper interrogation procedures by our Liberal Government and CSIS, and information exchange with the commission...that's it....that's all....That's the extent of the SCOC ruling, period.
  9. Listen, if you want to continue any sort of debate, please go educate yourself on the facts first. I have no interest trying to carry on a conversation with a buffoon. You are not in possession of the facts, and until that changes, there's not much to discuss.
  10. I was referring to the SCOC ruling, they did not say his incarceration was illegal.
  11. No he wasn't, he was awarded compensation because CSIS and the Canadian Foreign Affairs Officer under the Liberal Government interrogated him and then shared the information obtained with the commission, which the Supreme court ruled was a violation of his constitutional rights. The ruling said absolutely nothing about his incarceration being illegal. Are you in possession of any of the facts, or just innuendo?
  12. Khadr's case was heard after the ruling, under a new commission. You're either being intentionally disingenuous, or hopelessly obtuse.
  13. Man, you are thick. This ruling is before October 2006 when the Government brought in the Military Commissions Act. You have been explained this no less than 3 times so far and you still can't seem to grasp it. Keep trying though.
  14. So...no cite then. Kinda figured.
  15. Well, he says he's remorseful now, and he wants to show Canada that he's turned over a new leaf. He realizes what he did was wrong and hopes he can be forgiven for the damage he's caused. I think a good start to walking this new noble path would be for him to honour his debt to Speer's widow and voluntarily give her the 139 million he owes her, or at least a 10.5 million dollar down payment towards rectifying his debt to her.
  16. I'm sure when he stated that he loves killing Americans, what he ACTUALLY meant was he hates killing Americans. yeah, that must be what he meant.
  17. Okay, so you have put forward a claim that the Supreme Court has ruled that Parrish's judgement was rejected. I have given you plenty of direction and opportunity to lead you to the facts that would show you that you are completely wrong on this point. Could you provide anything at all that would substantiate your claim? And the Speer application was merely to freeze his assets, this story is far from over. He still has a 134 million dollar wrongful death judgement against him that he lost. This case will be heard in a Canadian court. Hate to bust your bubble, I know you were getting excited in your incorrect thinking that this thug was home free.
  18. Incorrect again. Please do yourself a favour and look it up. You can start by educating yourself on The Military Commissions Act of 2006 .
  19. I did. You on the other hand, apparently didn't.
  20. No, you're incorrect. Dig a little deeper.
  21. Here you go... Omar Khadr Not Tortured: Judge
  22. Here's a good start for you... There's a really interesting video that goes along with the photo, may want to look it up.
  23. Khadr's trial came after the Hadman vs Rumsfeld verdict which ruled that detainees are entitled to limited rights of due process. Consequently, the Department of Defense instituted Combatant Status Review Panels to satisfy this ruling. Khadr's case was heard by this review panel, so this example is moot and does not apply to his case.
  24. Building...and planting. I wonder how many innocent people, or families he blew up before he was stopped that we dont know about?
  25. I don't know what 3 cases your referring to, but we're talking about Khadr. The courts ruled there was no evidence to support his allegations.
