  1. I made up what? It's fact that you would be jumping up and down touting any poll that had conservatives in the lead. You're the conservatives biggest fanboy out here and still like to point out what percentage of the vote conservatives got the last election, as if it was some sort of win. You'd be on top of your top world if a poll had conservatives or Poilievre doing better than what they are. I'm not going to try and defend Trudeau's economic record, but your disregard for the reality because of your biased views used to be head scratching, now it's just expected. Why do you think our auto and softwood lumber industries are struggling... Do you think it might have something do with 50%, 35% and 25% tariffs, that I'm sure Poilievre would have likely already agreed to, or do you think there is another reason the industries are struggling?
  2. Nope, just didn't pay much attention to the ins and outs of trucking industry other than what rates were. Fair enough if you want to say that industry is broken but tell me how we find local people to do the other roles immigrants typical fill and we'll go all white. Not a libbie thing... I used to get worked up about it but somewhere along the line it became it is what it is. I live in a multi-cultural part of the world so if I did go to Tim Hortons, there could be an EI or Chinese serving me. Whatever, I'm only there to get what I'm looking for. Good to hear you didn't push your kids into being a fast food worker, delivery driver, hotel cleaner, etc.. Well done.
  3. 1) If you had a poll that had the conservatives in the lead or CBC having it's worst viewer ratings ever you'd post it as gospel. 2) Where do you get this 'general trend' from?
  4. Never said that. The back and forth wasn't really about that anyway. I had a big problem with the amount of immigrants we let into the country after covid, but not much I can do about it. They are though filling roles in some sectors that has a low percentage of people who want to do that work, and for that wage. If there are other solutions that get's more local people wanting those jobs, all the better.
  5. Alberta isn't going anywhere. Last poll I saw there was only ~28% that would vote to leave and ~67% vote to stay. Of the 28% I'd guess there's probably a percentage in there that just want to send a message to Ottawa and ultimately would not vote to leave when they thought it through. Give them a pipeline and it will be the best country ever.
  6. This article goes against your bigotted narrative... There is a predictable temptation to direct public anger about economic and labour issues toward migrant workers themselves. This kind of racist backlash is becoming all too familiar. In the trucking industry, it’s no less on display. Suggestions that foreign drivers are the source of transport accidents, racist and xenophobic social media outrage, and calls for tighter immigration controls are all notable manifestations. The Teamsters’ report rejects this framing outright. “Don’t blame immigrants,” said union president François Laporte. “Blame the politicians for believing everything companies say, and for allowing the trucking industry to use migrant labour as a substitute for paying far more competitive wages.” In all my years I've never heard, or at least don't remember, anyone ever saying 'I want to be a truck driver'.... like never. That's not at all to take away from the industry or knock anyone that does drive truck but if there are not enough people to drive the trucks, guess what.... we find them, and according to this article we started doing that back in 2010. The other side of the coin is that there are a number of transportation companies owned by EI's and typically hire drivers from within their community. You shouldn't have a problem with that... No, I don't know the 'abuse' of EI's being in the IT industry.... And bigots like you should go somewhere other than Tim Hortons if you don't like being served by immigrants. Where I have no idea but I'm sure you can find somewhere so a 'whiteish' person serves you. Question though.... why didn't you steer your child/children towards working in the fast food industry as a career? If you and others would have we wouldn't have this immigrant labor dynamic in that industry.
  7. Sad, because you're a bigot. That's not much of an argument is it? Deny what... I can easily think of a dozen EI's off the top of my head who are and have been far more successful in the business community than you have or will ever be. They work hard, employ a lot of people, pay their fair share of taxes, and contribute to our society. You....??? They'd probably look at you out here every day complaining about Canada and being a bigot with a good laugh. As far as your complaints.... The trucking industry, whats the problem with that industry and EI's in it? Tell me about IT and why it's a problem for you we have some talented EI's working in that field? And fast food... whats the problem with EI's working in that industry?
  8. You'll enjoy being a bigot in the US. The less we have, the better....
  9. I'm not complaining about anything....life is good. My comment is that you're too chickenshît to do anything other than complain every day, like the handful or so of others who do likewise.
  10. So what they say isn't what they really do. Where do you get this information from?
  11. In your little mind we lost our sovereignty because a Chinese envy said something.... sure, go with that.
  12. He's spot on... and too bad you can't see that. Is there anyone out here who doesn't agree with your ideology that you haven't attacked and insulted with pretty much every post?
  13. No you wouldn't.... You're too chickenshît. It's way easier for you to come out here every day and complain about liberals, CBC, vax's and Trans. That's your life, in a nutshell.
  14. So in other words... To better fit your conservative biased frame of mind we've lost of our sovereignty if another country representative 'tells' us something. Even in your make believe world that's a stretch... Your devotion to Harper is amusing.... "he didn't tolerate any political shenanigans" 😂 No of course not, he just bent his knee to China for the almighty dollar rather than his early tough guy talk of standing up for human rights. It's always about the dollar, and always will be about the dollar... What am I supposed to answer about being okay with Carney doing what... China's envoy talking a warning about our relationship with Taiwan? That's a non-sensical question... even for you. Why are you always sticking up for Goddess? I'm actually starting to wonder if you're one in the same...
  15. So in your mind 'we've sold our sovereignty' because China's envoy 'warns' us about going to Taiwan or through the strait. Explain how we 'sold' our sovereignty...? I'll ask the question again... Were you dead set against China when Harper was kissing their back ends for stronger economic ties, or did you just have an epiphany when Carney reset the relationship?
  16. You continually talk about how 'informed' you are, yet as I see it you're one of, if not the laziest seekers of information in this forum because you only read what suits your ideology. You see something that you like and it's like a dog on a bone.... no thinking required or need to see if it's really a bone.... just get it in their mouth and watch them go to town. If you'd have questioned this, which you wouldn't because it fits well for your hate of liberals, you'd have found this; Under the procedure and practice of the House of Commons of Canada, documents and transcripts from in-camera (closed-door) committee meetings are designated as confidential and kept secret for 30 years. [1, 2] Key Aspects of the 30-Year Rule for In-Camera Meetings: Definition of In-Camera: Meetings held in-camera are closed to the public and media, with no broadcasting of proceedings. They are generally used to consider draft reports, hear confidential testimony, or discuss sensitive matters. What is Kept Secret: Transcripts, documents submitted, and detailed notes of proceedings are restricted. While minutes (which show decisions/votes) are public, they do not include the details of the discussions. 30-Year Secrecy Clause: According to House of Commons procedure, confidential committee documents are archived at Library and Archives Canada as "Secret Records" for a period of 30 years from the end of the session in which they were created. Access During Secrecy: Although not public, these records remain available to Members of the House (MPs) during that 30-year period. The funny thing and not surprising is that your little friend Fxx has to jump in like he always does and say "But they did. Committees have the power to do that for those who participate in the committee".... You're both as stüpid as hell and think you're having some sort of 'intelligent' conversation that starts with your BS... which is not surprising considering you both pick things out of your áss to make your so-called information 'sound better'...
  17. Not surprisingly.... @Goddess hasn't answered it here or any time previously. I'll assume the answer was that it was great that Harper was so focused on China trade, but Carney is selling us out. Chalk it up to 'minions do what minions do'...
  18. First, explain how we've sold our sovereignty to China. Don't run away and change the subject....answer it 🤡 Now, maybe use this as a reference for your hero's affection for China; https://canadians.org/analysis/harper-sneaks-through-canada-china-fipa-locks-canada-31-years/ HARPER SNEAKS THROUGH CANADA-CHINA FIPA, LOCKS CANADA IN FOR 31 YEARS by Scott Harris. September 12, 2014Analysis In the world of official government announcements, a two-paragraph media release sent out in the late afternoon on the Friday before Parliament resumes sitting is the best way for a government to admit, “We know this is really, really unpopular, but we’re doing it anyway.” That’s the way the Harper government, by way of a release quoting Trade Minister Ed Fast, announced that it had decided to ignore widespread public opposition, parliamentary opposition from the NDP, Greens and even lukewarm Liberal criticism, an ongoing First Nations legal challenge, and even division at its own cabinet table and grassroots membershipand proceed with the ratification of the Canada-China Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (FIPA). With China’s ratification of the deal long since signed, sealed, and delivered (and, really, when you can convince another government to sign a deal this lopsided in your favour, wouldn’t you ratify as quickly as possible too?) Canada’s ratification of the deal means it will enter into force on October 1. And once that happens, we’ll be locked into the terms of FIPA for a minimum of 31 years. That’s right, even if a new government is formed after the election next year and they choose to back out of FIPA, the next seven Canadian governments will be bound by the consequences of Harper’s poor negotiations. Just how bad of a deal has Harper locked the next seven Canadian governments into? Here’s how Diane Francis — hardly an anti-trade left-winger — described it in an op-ed in the Financial Post:
  19. Cry...??? It made me laugh.... Moonbox has you described to a tee 😂
  20. LMAO, that's little Fxx to a tee! 😂
  21. You haven't answered the last few times I've asked... were you anti-China when Harper was wooing their trade and investments in Canada, or just become anti -China after Carney signed the recent agreement?
  22. Ahhh, that's a shame you think my sentiments are despicable while your loving couple are so appropriate. And you're a sorry little minion. So what's your point?
  23. FFS.... I'm done with you and your similar idi0ts stüpidity. A bunch of stunned dumbfücks who either can't read, or just can't accept that life in this part of the world was highly unaffordable under your long gone hero. Unaffordable home prices to ripple across Metro Vancouver Published 3:00 am Thursday, March 26, 2015 Average debt-service ratio for Vancouver from 2000 to 2014. It's not not hard to find a lot more unflattering conservative government facts... Feel free to look for yourself.
  24. You proved and have shown nothing clown... other than validating again that you're a simple little hack. You're embarrassing... Your parents must be so proud every time they go downstairs and see you typing like a little madman on the keyboard 😂
