  1. Whose moral sins? The individuals or the communities? Which mortal sins? Tell me why one set of would supercede any other? ...set of morals
  2. They didn't make the statement you did. So you thinking asking them is "helping"? "Helping" like helping a kid with anorexia create a diet plan to lose weight because they identify as fat? That kind of "helping"?
  3. What constitutes "helping" a trans youth?
  4. Ive often said that what we are seeing is people living too long under a peace for which they paid no price. They think things are owed to them simply because they exist.
  5. I dont think you do. Jesus said peter is the rock upon which he will build his church. You REFUSE to accept it. Just like the people in John 6:66. I'll pray for you.
  6. Boettner is a sinful man just like you claim Peter is but you proclaim his contradictory interpretation. I'll take Jesus at his word thank you. Peter is the rock you which Jesus built his church. You follow luther and boettner
  7. There is no play in words Jesus is direct and clear. In John 6:60 Jesus disciples say, "This is a hard saying. Who can accept it?" They know Jesus is speaking literally. Then V61 Aware of the complaints of his disciples, Jesus said to them, "Does this shock you?" Why would they be shocked if he was speaking figuratively?
  8. Why do you keep referring to non biblical sources? In all out discussions I've only ever referenced the Bible. Boettner is the Protestants anti Catholic textbook. Not only is it non biblical is filled with errors. You called Peter a sinful man but there you are expecting me to take the word of the sinful Boettner over Jesus. I pray you escape the biblical abuses you've been exposed to.
  9. So what if personal morality exists? Do they supercede a community set of morals? Do the community set of morals supercede the personal? Why?
  10. Jesus called Peter the rock upon whom he would build his church, not me. Yes it would be absurd because you don't stand on Peter the church does. Jesus said so.
  11. Will NOT prevail against it. The cornerstone is not the ground the ground is not the cornerstone. Jesus is clear, you are peter and on this rock I will build MY church. Simple straightforward message just like john 6
  12. You're getting angry but can't run away this time. Once again Jesus is quite clear, Matt 6: 18, "And I say to you: You are Peter and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of the netherworld will not prevail against it". Jesus says MY church not 20-30,000 denominations No Jesus said he will build his church on the rock of Peter and that not even luthers followers will prevail against it.
  13. Yes it sits on the ground but a cornerstone on unstable ground will not support the building put on top of it. Matt 16:17-19 No computer thinks it's programmed. You think you believe the Bible but you believe what has been tod to you to believe. Just like in John 6 Jesus is clear in the above passage but I suspect you will tell me why I cant take Jesus at his word.
  14. It's very important as it's an analogy. Jesus says he is the cornerstone. So if a cornerstone doesnt sit in thin air where does it sit? You refuse to answer and we both know why. You think this is the first time I've engaged a programmed Protestant? Answer the question, if a cornerstone doesnt sit in mid air where does it sit?
  15. So you're saying people have their own morality but morals arent personal? Explain
  16. You don't know where the cornerstone of a building sits if it's not in mid air? See this why I have little regard for the sincerity of Protestants. They've been programmed and they can only repeat what's been programmed into them.
  17. If not in mid air where does the cornerstone sit?
  18. If not in mid air where does the cornerstone sit?
  19. Irrelevant. If all morals are personal then there is no just reason to condemn hitler. I'm not in charge of your assumptions Good for you I express my opinion. I don't control what you do with it. If you want to engage we'll engage. If not that doesnt stop me from stating my opinion. Freud LMBO another whacko
  20. Drinking in Bangkok sounds like a bad idea for lots of reasons.
  21. I didn't say that passage had anything to do with Peter. This is the problem with talking to protestants. They can only do what their programming has put into them. I'm not sure how much you know about engineering but I'm going to ask you this question anyway, the cornerstone of a building....does it sit in mid air?
  22. The guy sounds like a nut.
