This is an issue facing every kid in schools and every person who works because these DEI are mandatory and will ruin people life if they engage in honest debate. Of this helps someone then no waste. Here is an Open Letter to Kike Ojo-Thompson Kike Ojo-Thompson, the diversity and inclusion instructor who bullied and harassed a white principal with the TDSB, states that: "Canada is a bastion of white supremacy and colonialism. " This requires exploration. Firstly, the words " white supremacy" and " colonialism" are racist dog whistles for the radical left extremists. White supremacy is a debunked, unscientific, Marxist terms that means the system is set up for white success at the expense of others and advantages for being white are written into all aspects of society. We know this does not exist in Canada because the Charter of Rights (1982) and the Ontario Human Rights Code (1962/1990) do not allow for whites to have preferred treatment in Canadian society. We also know Chinese, Japanese, and Korean workers have higher incomes than white workers. We know that social factors like the cycle of poverty , drug and alcohol abuse and crime impact whites. Social factors like family structure and values and effort determine success for whites and not skin color. We know that white students in TDSB are not dominating academic stats or have any statistical advantages. Asians outperform them. The same in Durham District School Board, south Asians, dominate the whites. Peel and York regions are the same, non white students are achieving better than Whites and suspended less. These three - Chinese, Korean, Japanese, groups dominate the Canadian employment statistics and academic world. There is no data on Jewish employees and student success however they are easily found succeeding in Canadian society. If there is white supremacy then why does it not impact Asians? Yes there is white influence and Canada was a British colony. It was the white British and French settlers who took the swamps and converted them to cities. White settlerrs are the group primarily responsible for making Canada a economic success with fair and just laws and a safe peaceful society. Kike Ojo-Thompson says she is Nigerian and Trinidadian. She does not say this but it is obvious that she chooses to live in Canada because it was a British colony and because white people built the country. She does not want to live in Nigeria which is essentially an all black country. She sees " whiteness " as a pejorative yet lives here and not in a country like Nigeria with little to no " whiteness". This is why she lives in Canada and under " white supremacy" by choice. Nigeria and Trinidad inventions and contributions to the world and society in general are insignificant. She wants to live in a country that was developed by whites because she knows the values of and morals embedded in whiteness. In Nigeria, they have the death penalty for homosexuality. This has been addressed by the free health care, free education, free housing and Ontario works aka welfare that has been provided to all people of all races. There has not been a racist law or policy in Canada this century. MOST whites were poor and working class. Not privileged. Remember you said Canada is more racist and unjust than the USA? But the white Canadians here rescued slaves with the underground railroad and ended slavery in 1794 before every other place in the world with a few exceptions. In total from 1600-1833 there were about 4-5 thousand African slaves in what is now Canada. Over 60 000 Canadian soldiers died in WW1 and 45 000 in WW2. That is more significant than a few thousand people suffering back in 17 and 1800's. Black soldiers could vote the same as white ones. Ontario has abandoned the math proficiency test for teachers because black teachers can't pass. Students now have teachers who don't know math just to appease black people. Jordan Manners, a black high school student, was shot to death in school. As a result , plus other patterns of violence, the TDSB brought in Toronto police to monitor some schools. Black people didn't like it so the police were removed. The shootings are back as in 2022/2023 two black students were killed on school property. These shootings make schools unsafe for everyone. If the system rewards good behaviour and punishes bad behaviour then yes the outcomes are " systemic". Police say there was a physical altercation between three males when two of them took out handguns and shot at each other. We know systemic racism was responsible. On April 9, 2023, the CBC published an article written by Desmond Brown that can be best described as fake news. In the Brown article, the CBC writer cites sources who describe events at a Markham mosque as " hate crimes" that have not been proven in court to be a crime let alone being determined to be hate crimes. The title of the article is "Hate Motivated Attack" and Brown quoted many people who claimed the event to be “hate motivated” without the sources being qualified to make such serious claims. Brown quotes local Member of Parliament, Mary Ng, who tweeted that she was “deeply disturbed to hear of the violent hate crimes and racist behaviour”: MP Ng “heard” of the incident. The article includes intensely inflammatory, speculative comments against the accused from several important sources such as Markham Mayor Frank Scarpitti and Kristyn Wong-Tam, the NDP MPP for Toronto Centre. It seems no one cited by Brown was present at the time of the alleged attack or had any direct knowledge of the accused or intimate knowledge of the details of the event. Hijab Hoax: “a hate crime” Brown’s article is reminiscent of the hijab hoax that the CBC perpetrated on the entire world. One article entitled 'I felt really scared:' Toronto girl says man tried to cut off her hijab as she walked to school led with: "Police are now characterizing the attack as a hate crime”. This article was published on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 9:49 a.m. and includes: “Toronto police are investigating the incident as a hate crime.” along with quotes from then Mayor John Tory and Prime Minister Tory. The 2018 article that made international news cites no eye-witnesses or any reviewed video evidence. The published falsehood claimed that an Islamophobic attack took place on an 11 year old girl at around 9 a.m. and the story was published at 9:49. The only evidence referenced was by a CBC reporter who claimed via twitter that: “Heartwarming note: A friend gave her (sic: the lying 11 year old) another hijab to wear,” “The one (sic: slashed hijab) she was wearing with the 12 inch gash is with police as evidence.” The CBC was the one providing claims of evidence where none existed. The CBC’s journalistic standard for reporting on Islamophobia does not require evidence, facts, or reliable sources as further evidenced by other articles purporting Islamophobia. By Monday, the media was reporting that the investigation was closed but the world had learned of the allegation. Sharan Karunakaran: "a hate-motivated attack" The article by CBC's Brown stays true to the CBC’s pattern of calling events a hate crime/attack without any evidence. Brown repeatedly peppers the article with the word “hate” and references people to support these claims who were not eye witnesses and seemingly do not know the suspect, Sharan Karunakaran. Brown published the article on April 9th, 2023 and the alleged attack took place on April 6th, 2023. Brown does not mention the suspect’s name, does not include a photo, or give any indication as to why Karunakaran might hate Muslims or what organization he may belong to in order to explain the alleged link to Islamophobia. To be clear, Sharan Karunakaran is presumed innocent until proven guilty and, as of this writing, there is no finding of a hate crime and he has yet to be convicted of anything. Brown also includes mention of a bear spray incident at a GTA mosque. Mohammad Moiz: "hate-motivated incident." Brown references the bear spray incident but does not mention that the suspect, Mohammad Moiz, is seemingly Muslim, Brown cites "authorities" as calling the matter "hate-motivated" without any context or explaining the identity of the alleged attacker. The bear spray incident is lumped together with the 2017 Quebec mosque shooting, the London incident, issues in Alberta, and other events as if they are somehow linked to a singular entity when in fact, Brown is conflating mental health issues with unknown factors and unproven allegations. Brown’s article synthetically fuses events over six years across three provinces and frames them as Islamophobia. The disinformation falsely labels the fatal stabbing of Mohamed-Aslim Zafis and the June 2021 London tragedy as “anti-Muslim hate attacks”. Mohamed-Aslim Zafis: anti-Muslim hate attack The CBC framed the regretful incident involving Mohamed-Aslim Zafis as Islamophobic. While the accused, Guillermo Von Neutegem, was before the courts the CBC published an article that suggested he was a racist, white supremacist and killed Mohamed-Aslim Zafis in alignment with his hateful ideals. This was despite his Charter right to be presumed innocent and his right to a fair trial. The CBC articles about Von Neutegem typically include his photo and the CBC’s online articles about Karunakaran and Moiz do not. In the article entitled “Man charged in stabbing death of mosque caretaker followed hate group online” published online on September 21, 2022, the CBC writer does not include a single source who knows the accused or cites any evidence of any wrong doing by Guillermo Von Neutegem. The source cited in the article- who apparently had never met Von Neutegem – is quoted as saying: "They're (sic: members of a club/organization the article attempts to link to Von Neutegem) all the worst things that you could possibly think of ". The article is pure speculation and conjecture based on potential social media usage yet uses very strong, declarative language to condemn the accused. The “hate group” allegedly linked to Guillermo Von Neutegem is not even Canadian and is UK based. Ultimately, Guillermo Von Neutegem was found by the courts to be NCR (not criminally responsible). There seems to be no evidence to support the claim, as suggested by the CBC article, that he was a fervent racist and linked to a “satanic neo-Nazi death cult.” On March 27, 2023, the CBC published an article explaining the court’s NCR ruling. Von Neutegem suffers from mental health issues, which a source cited in the article suggests should not be a legal defense. The Crown and the defence made a joint submission that the accused be found not criminally responsible. Psychiatric reports filed with the court said Von Neutegem was diagnosed with schizophrenia. One report indicated that he had 'basic knowledge' regarding Islam but no feelings of animosity against it. Despite the court ruling, the psychiatric reports, Von Neutegem' s lack of animus, and the lack of mens rea, Brown still declares, in his own words with persuasive, definitive language, that the tragic death of Mohamed-Aslim Zafis was a "hate crime/attack". Afzaal Family: “anti-Muslim hate attack” Brown also definitively declared that the Afzaal family incident was a hate attack. The CBC repeatedly claims that the London tragedy is also a hate crime, again, violating the accused Charter rights to the presumption of innocence and a fair trail. In fact, there is a publication ban so publishing this unproven claim is not only a charter breach and unethical, it's against a court order. The CBC Ombudsman has stated that this goes against journalistic standards but that has not stopped the inaccurate reporting to continue. This matter is before the courts and may these claims may prove to be true but for now, the accused has not been convicted of anything let alone a hate crime. A deconstruction of Brown’s article into events within the GTA finds zero evidence of hate crimes against Muslims. There are three separate GTA events identified by Brown: 1) one proven not to be hate-related and a mental health issue, 2) one seemingly by a Muslim, and 3) another by a suspect in which almost no details are known. Two of the events are presently before the courts and are unproven at this juncture with no ruling on guilt or motivation. To date, there are no examples of any proven, hate-related murder or serious violence against Muslims by organized, white supremacists ever in the history of Ontario. The article by Brown fails to be balanced and does not mention that in Ontario violence by Muslims attacks are far more common and violent than attacks against them. Brown could have mentioned some examples of Muslim violence in the GTA such as: Annie Hang-Kam Chiu, Reese Fallon and Julianna Kozis, Raed Jaser and Chiheb Esseghaier and Shareef Abdelhaleem. In considering non-GTA acts, the 24 Canadians killed on 9/11, Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, Amanda Lindhout, Momin Khawaja, Ashton Carleton Lamond and the Montreal Massacre (Gamil Gharbi) could have been raised by Brown. The CBC is committed to pushing a false narrative of racist, white Canadians violently attacking Muslims and minorities. In one CBC article, convicted terrorist Shareef Abdelhaleem , a Muslim, is quoted as saying he loved Canada, and he had never been discriminated against because of his religion or skin colour, but added the system (sic: justice system with respect to his charges and sentencing) was blatantly unfair. Evidence-based Pattern of Violent Crimes There is a pattern for violent, horrific crimes in Canada but it is not related to racist Whites. In Canada, for 2021, 20% of people accused of homicide were identified as Black. The rate of Black people accused of homicide was almost 6 times higher than the rate for non-racialized ( white) people. The CBC uses its state-sponsored platform to push the false narrative that racist, white Canadians are violent and are a threat to public safety. The CBC has not demonstrated any interest in reporting on the demonstrative pattern of violence that does not fit their agenda, young, Black males. Desmond Brown wrote an article about gun violence in Toronto but did not mention the clear pattern of young, Black males being involved. In his article posted on September 24, 2022 he cites that there were 392 shootings in Toronto in 2017 and that the number was over 400 in each of the following years up to 2021. There is no evidence to suggest that any GTA shootings have ever been linked to a racist, White supremacist organizations, ever. While there are examples of property damage and intimidation, there are zero examples of racist Whites in Ontario killing a Black person out of hate or racial motivation. This fact is not aligned with the agenda of the CBC that wants to push the false narrative of violent, racist Whites killing and attacking minorities. The CBC is not reporting on the empirical evidence of a distinct, undeniable pattern of young, Black males being disproportionately responsible for serious, newsworthy, violent crimes. The focus of the CBC is presenting White Canadians as dangerous and a threat to Muslims and non-Whites despite the evidence of who in Toronto is responsible for concerns of public safety.
