https://dcenquirer.com/texas-massacre-averted-by-armed-citizen/?utm_source=89381 Texas Massacre Averted By Armed Citizen At the Cielo Vista Mall in El Paso, Texas on Feb. 15th a fistfight between two groups of teenagers escalated when a 16-year-old opened fire killing one 17-year-old boy and severely injuring three other people according to police. According to KTXS-TV, the victim Angeles Zaragoza was involved in a confrontation with another group of teenagers near the food court at about 5:05 p.m. CST. The unnamed gunman turned and opened fire on a group that included 32-year-old Emanuel Duran. Duran, police said is a legal gun owner and licensed to carry in Texas. He pulled out his handgun and returned fire at the teenager firing at least twice. Gee, gun grabbers. Your gun control didn't work so well, because you're so STUPID as to believe there's such a thing as a law abiding criminal. “It is always concerning when a 16-year-old has a stolen handgun and fires a weapon inside of a crowded mall. It’s very concerning, it’s very disturbing actually,” he explained. So much for your dumbass gun control. Disarm the law abiding public while criminals just STEAL their guns? Seriously? This LEGAL gun owner SAVED LIVES. So tell us why you would have preferred those people DIE.

What has happened to the Democratic Party?
reason10 replied to Mako's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
These liberals are SO ignorant of the real world. Nixon had negotiated a peace agreement with Vietnam, but the DemoNazi Congress withdrew all funding for that war and put almost a million people in jeopardy, including a generation of Hmongs who had fought on the side of South Vietnam and the United States. Congress has supreme power to fck up ALL military actions. -
Well, they are links. Of course, they are inaccurate left wing biased links. So they have the credibility of NO links. "The Trace?" Seriously? If the links came from law enforcement sources like the FBI, or even ONE OR TWO local sheriff's departments, there might be a hint of credibility. But a left wing gun grabber source? Kinda like looking up the Democrat Party's Ku Klux Klan for documentation of racism and affirmative action, huh? What's next? THE VIEW?
-
Let's see some links. PROVE IT. So far, we just have your opinion. And it's starting to look like that's all we're going to get out of you. First PROVE the populations of Toronto and Miami are almost identical. (KInda difficult when you realize that Miami's population varies from season to season. Then PROVE the number of murders are so far off. (I might buy into that since there are certain months of the year when Toronto would have ZERO muggings because the average scumbag there would freeze to death.) Then PROVE that the difference is ONLY because of gun laws in each city. (Not the country, but the city.)
-
You have give ZERO links to prove anything. And we all know Canada's school system is way inferior to the American system, CANADA CREEP. Here's a hint: Find ONE FCKING STATE. Find the REDDEST, most CONSTITUTIONAL state in America. Look up its state statutes and see if there are any provisions for shipping guns illegally across the Canadian border. http://www.leg.state.fl.us/STATUTES/ Or if you're stupid enough to accuse the United States itself of shipping illegal firearms (oh, and you might want to look up Canadian law concerning legal firearms ( https://www.canlii.org/en/ca/laws/stat/) then research the US Code for OUR gun laws (https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text ) Do your homework. Look up the laws. Then PROVE that any US state government of the US government itself is engaged in illegally shipping firearms to the country where men are men and female elk are nervous. I think you'll probably just sit there stupidly with your finger up your nose before you realize that your laptop has shorted out because you drooled all over the keyboard. Either way, CANADA CRETIN, you have lost this argument.
-
This is the point I've been making, which gets me in trouble with the educated (read CONSERVATIVE) posters here. I recognize that school choice is a fairy tale, probably because (a little Social Darwinism here) the children who REALLY need better schools come out of households where the single parents probably can't even read and don't give a shit about their kids anyway.

It's only abusive to feeble minds. To the educated posters here (read NON WOKE) it's actually hilarious. And we sit back and just imagine your childish triggered faces when you lose yet ANOTHER argument. (Or do you recall that childish poor remark about FoxNews? Do you think you are entitled to lie and be an a s s hole without some kickback? Do you have a large shelf full of participation trophies?) I give FACTS for everyone at first. Those who are too STUPID to at least READ the facts get a little tweak. It's funny. We're laughing at you, RETARD. If you don't want us laughing at you, grow a brain and quit being so STUPID. -
He was about as good as Adolf Hitler. And if you compare the two, you'd probably find that DONALD TRUMP contributed more to charity that Carter. Then again, Trump was a better president for that matter. Gave us LOW gasoline prices, almost zero inflation, an expanded economy, and peace in the Middle East. There is NO Democrat president IN HISTORY with that positive a tract record. Mostly Democrats tank economies, cause everything to cost more, send soldiers into battle and explode the national debt.
-
Most certainly full of lies. Naval officers are NOT "soldiers." Tell a Naval officer that he/she is not a soldier and you're liable to get a face full of fists. And Carter is certainly NOT to blame for the Soviets invading Afghanistan, nor OPEC hiking gas prices. Yes he is. His WEAKNESS on the world state emboldened the Soviet Union. Oh, and his WINDFALL PROFITS TAX single handedly got gasoline up to a dollar a gallon for the first time in history. His worst mistake was his humanitarian gesture of allowing a long time ally of the US (the Shah) into the US for medical treatment, which caused hatred and retaliation against him by Iranians. Of course Jimmy had nothing to do with the antipathy against Shaw Reza Pahlavi who was installed by a CIA engineered coup against a democratically elected leader. Nope. His WORST mistake was not deploying the military the SECOND those hostages were taken, with a threat that the planes are on the way and if they are not released, Teheran will be leveled. I guarantee you those rag heads would have shit themselves and put the hostages on transportation out of there. Or did it seem strange to you that incoming President Reagan used his Executive Order to decontrol domestic oil, and THE PRICE OF GASOLINE PLUMMETED AT THE PUMP FOR THE NEXT EIGHT YEARS? (You're a child. Obviously you weren't around when that happened. I was. I saw it. My job at the time required a lot of travel and the policies of liberals Nixon/Ford/Carter caused gasoline prices to triple.)
-
You left wing goose steppers said a lot WORSE about President Ronald Reagan, (the greatest president in history), so maybe a little STFU would be in order. Carter was easily the WORST president of the 20th Century. The facts don't change just because taxpayer dollars have extended his traitorous life to the ripe old age of 98. A person about to assume room temperature does NOT erase the damage he did to this country. I wonder if you would say the same about your mentor ADOLF HITLER before he died.
-
No reasonable person would be opposed to REASONABLE GUN CONTROL. (Try to pay attention here. FACTS about to be revealed.) Guns should be denied to: minors, convicted felons, crazy people and illegal aliens. (If I had my way, ALL firearms would be prohibited to bodyguards of Democrat politicians.) That's reasonable. Gun grabbing assumes that there is such a thing as a law abiding criminal.

Americans sure as hell are Florida Boy. All firearms must be declared at the border. Canadians are also not allowed to take firearms into the US. So far, CANADA CRETIN, you have provided ZERO evidence that there is a provision in the United States Code that provides for smuggling guns into Canada. As far as smuggling illegal items go, maybe you should grow a brain and ask some LAW ABIDING CRIMINALS where they got their illegal drugs, (since certain drugs are illegal in Canada.) Or are you going to blame the United States for that, too? In 2018, Canada's firearms death rate was 1.94 per 100K population. The US was 12.21, that's 6.3 times higher. Canada's firearm homicide rate was 0.52 per 100K population. The US was 4.46, that's 8.6 times higher. First of all, (assuming ANY of that bullschitt is factual and so far you have a pretty lousy track record on facts) the American population is much denser. We have more urban areas. A lot of Canada is so cold that even polar bears there are thinking of moving to Florida. So comparing murder rates between the two countries is just plain asinine. You know nothing Florida Boy Florida third graders know more than you, Canada Creepo.
-
Agreed, as a Navy soldier, Carter did the right thing. As President, Carter empowered Islamofascism, empowered the SOVIET UNION to march into Afghanistan, caused gasoline prices to skyrocket and further fueled INFLATION. And because of KKKlinton, Obama, and Unelected Joe, we can no longer say Carter was the worst president of all time.
-
The United States is NOT smuggling guns across your border. If you want to make that kind of dumb ass case, produce a link showing the act of CONGRESS that authorizes weapons to be illegally smuggled across the border. Also, show me the section of Canadian Law that prohibits ALL firearms (AND I MEAN ALL OF THEM) from being taken across the border. You have criminals in Canada who buy illegal guns, WHICH MEANS THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A LAW ABIDING CRIMINAL. You can't blame the United States for that simple fact. Admit it. Your gun control laws are useless.

This is rich. Lets you know that even in well educated red states, there's that ONE retard city with its head inserted in its lower intestinal tract. https://www.foxnews.com/us/austin-man-threatened-fines-code-violations-suspected-drunk-driver-plows-spare-bedroom Austin man threatened with fines for code violations after suspected drunk driver plows through spare bedroom Chris Newby was sound asleep in the early morning hours of Jan. 19 when a suspected drunk driver plowed through the spare bedroom of his home in Austin, Texas. The window frame caved in, bricks crumbled on the outside, and a TV was demolished, leaving Newby in the unenviable position of remodeling a large part of his home. The Austin Code Department threw some salt in the wound by sending a letter to Newby dated Jan. 19 informing him that he must fix his home within 30 days or face fines of up to $2,000 a day per violation.

Another item from the "I SWEAR I'M NOT MAKING THIS UP." https://www.foxnews.com/media/arizona-teacher-allowing-parents-choose-curriculum-books-students-mistake Arizona teacher argues allowing parents to choose curriculum and books for students is a 'mistake' The teacher spoke out against a proposed bill for schools to ban books discussing sexuality and LGBTQ ideology at hearing "I have a masters degree because when I got certified, I was told I had to have a master's degree to be an Arizona-certified teacher. We all have advanced degrees. What do the parents have?" special education teacher Alicia Messing said during a Senate Education Committee hearing last week. What do parents have? The FCKKING NERVE of this btch! Parents are PAYING FOR THE GODDAM SCHOOLS. And since when does a masters degree authorize a teacher to push homosexual, lesbian and pedophile concepts on CHILDREN? You all know I have reservations about parents when it comes to their kids' educations, especially in blue states where parents use the public school system as a taxpayer financed daycare center while they go back to sleep and watch soap operas in the afternoon, and then complain when Little Johnny gets a C on a test for which they were too fcking lazy to make him study. Still, this deal about parents not qualified to keep homo indoctrination away from their kids is priceless.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/gop-looks-rein-bidens-inflationary-executive-orders-vote-next-week GOP looks to rein in Biden’s inflationary executive orders in vote next week House Republicans will vote on legislation next week that would require the White House to analyze how major executive orders will affect prices across the U.S. economy before issuing those orders – an attempt to curb what the GOP says is President Biden’s habit of imposing costly rules that are fueling "devastating inflation." The bill, "Reduce Exacerbated Inflation Negatively Impacting the Nation Act," or REIN IN Act, is sponsored by some of the top Republican leaders and committee chairmen in the 118th Congress. They include House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik of New York, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith of Missouri, Financial Services Committee Chairman Patrick McHenry of North Carolina and Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer of Kentucky. Those lawmakers say Biden’s orders are fueling inflation in the U.S., including the one he issued on the first day in office that revoked the Keystone XL pipeline permit that former President Donald Trump had granted. That decision was estimated to cost thousands of jobs and several billions dollars in lost economic growth, and put inflationary pressures on energy prices. Points to ponder: 1. YES, Biden BY HIMSELF is responsible for this RECORD HIGHEST INFLATION in history with his executive orders. (Inflation defined as TOO MANY DOLLARS CHASING TOO FEW GOODS.) 2. YES, Biden increased the deficit to RECORD LEVELS with this welfare expansion: https://cnsnews.com/commentary/david-ditch/debunking-bidens-malarkey-7-ways-he-added-6-trillion-deficits Debunking Biden’s Malarkey: 7 Ways He Added $6 Trillion to Deficits This isn’t an accident, but instead the result of many deliberate choices by Biden and Congress to increase spending and add to the national debt recklessly. Here are seven: The largest by far was the $1.9 trillion package of welfare expansions and bailouts in March 2021, which passed Congress with Democrat-only support. It was promoted as a response to COVID-19. In reality, the bill was a textbook example of political opportunism that took advantage of the pandemic to enact a raft of the Left’s priorities. The 2021 infrastructure package, which Biden regularly cites as an achievement, was loaded with budget gimmicks to hide its true cost and included many wasteful carve-outs for progressives. The Biden administration’s highly flawed and partisan implementation of the bill only has made things worse. Biden was happy to sign two omnibus appropriations packages, both of which were thousands of pages long, larded up with pork and unnecessary spending increases for the swamp, and included tens of billions in questionable non-military aid to Ukraine. The so-called Inflation Reduction Act, a mix of tax hikes and Green New Deal-style industrial subsidies, was designed in a way that will add to deficits over the first five years and add even more down the line if any of its spending is renewed. Incredibly, things would have been even worse if the originally planned “Build Back Better” debacle had become law. The COMPETES Act, supposedly about addressing challenges posed by China, was in fact a deficit-financed mess of corporate welfare and increased spending authorizations for federal “science” bureaucracies. The PACT Act started as a reasonable measure to assist veterans who suffered from toxic exposure, but was turned into a massive expansion for the government-run Veterans Affairs system with a huge price tag. Since veterans’ benefits are a core federal responsibility, Congress should have the decency to ensure the VA system is paid for rather than casually swiping the national credit card. Biden has enacted or is in the process of implementing several executive orders and regulations that add billions of dollars apiece to costs, leading to a mix of higher deficits and reduced purchasing power. These include a massive “Thrifty Food Plan” increase in food stamp benefits; college loan repayment deferrals and the still-pending forgiveness scheme; an Obamacare eligibility expansion; and more stringent rules for two types of labor mandates on infrastructure projects. This continual surge of deficit spending was a leading factor in the surge of inflation, leading the Federal Reserve to start hiking interest rates, a development that could stall the economic recovery. 3. Still stupid enough to try to blame this on Trump? During his State of the Union speech, Biden blamed the high national debt on the Trump administration. This deflection has a kernel of truth—deficits were too high from 2017 through 2020—but removes all context. The bulk of Trump-era deficit increases were the result of bipartisan spending bills such as the CARES Act of March 2020 and excessively large appropriations packages. Uh, the HOUSE in that year was controlled by Nazi Pelosi and the Democrats. Democrats also attempt to blame deficits on the 2017 tax cut, but tax revenues now actually exceeded projections made before that bill’s passage and in 2022 were at a multidecade high as a share of the economy. Bottom line, the TRUMP years had gasoline prices dropping and almost NO inflation. We don't expect much to change, since the Nazis are still in control of the Senate. But this should go a long way towards flipping the Senate back to the Americans in 2024.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/texas-governor-universities-cannot-diversity-190000301.html Texas Governor: Universities Cannot Use Diversity, Equity or Inclusion in Hiring Daniel Perez Mon, February 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM EST Inclusive and equitable institutions that use diversity, equity and inclusion in their hiring benefit everyone, and a recent directive from the Texas governor saying otherwise is “grossly misconstruing” federal anti-discrimination law, a higher education diversity official said. Paulette Granberry Russell, president of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education, came out strongly against a Feb. 4 directive from the office of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott that called it illegal for state agencies and public universities to use diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in hiring decisions. In a directive, Abbott’s office stated that DEI has been used in recent years to favor some demographic groups “to the detriment of others.” The directive states that employment decisions should be based on merit without additional DEI consideration. Points to ponder: 1. "Diversity, equity and inclusion" are just code words for RACISM. PERIOD. And they VIOLATE the Civil Rights Act. 2. This was Dr. King's dream: https://www.npr.org/2010/01/18/122701268/i-have-a-dream-speech-in-its-entirety I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. So far, Texas has reached that dream, at least in the law.

We have taxes in Florida. And they are adequate to take care of the legitimate needs of government. There is no state income tax. But we DO have the best schools, the best infrastructure and the best economy in the country. And this state runs a budget SURPLUS. Compare that to California's GHETTO system, with homeless people shittttting on sidewalks, inferior schools (where teachers are ordered NOT to give grades below a C because it might affect the little cretin's self esteem) where some colleges refer to math as RACIST. We have it good in Florida because we have RESPONSIBLE elected government that caters to people with JOBS and not to welfare bums. And if an unelected president sends a few planeloads of illegal aliens to our state in the dead of night, our governor ships those animals to Martha's Vineyard, so the racist Obamas can act like bigoted white country club members in the 1950s. We have a lot of fun laughing at that.
