  1. Congrats, you've just posted wall of stupid. Just picking at random... Biden got us into wars in Ukraine and Gaza? Oh, wait, we're not in those "wars." They just happen to exist in the world. Biden attempted to remove Trump from the ballot? Links to a court case that has zero to do with Biden, filed by Republicans. Biden used motor voter to blah blah blah? Er, nope. The POTUS has nothing to do with state drivers licenses or voter registration. And on and on. You're full of shit, but you could at least try for semi-plausible shit. This is a sad, pathetic effort. GTFO, clown.
  2. Jeebus, you are dumb. Stalin was a communist (Stalinism, specifically and for obvious reasons) not a fascist. Opposite ends of the political spectrum.
  3. Maybe you should read your quote again. Then when you two have sorted things out, come back to us with a consensus viewpoint. Hell, maybe actually condemn them. That would be novel.
  4. 8 bullet points and not a single true statement. Your alternate reality is fascinating. And before we get to those bullet points you list three things that I don't "ignore" but that perhaps I should add to my earlier list. Trump is attempting to rebrand the DoD as the Department of War and calling Hegseth his Secretary of War, then federalizing National Guard troops under the "DoW" and deploying them against his own citizens not keep peace but to cause violence. Warlike? Check--and with the branding to prove it. Trump created DOGE, a bureaucratic agency, to attack and weaken the existing bureaucracy so that he could replace bureaucracy with political loyalists who can turn that bureaucracy to his political ends rather than simply conducting the business of the nation. And he's been open and explicit about this process. Another fascist hallmark. Trump indeed supports a centralized government and is attempting to consolidate all power--direct and indirect--in his office, including explicit support of the unitary executive theory, financial (and now military) action against states in which citizens politically oppose him, circumventing congress, defying the courts, exerting control over local elections and local law enforcement. The federal government has never been more powerful--or used to such political ends--than under Trump. Fascist check. Trump has implemented the most bizarre trade policy in living memory, attacking and destroying traditional trade (and military) relationships in favor of protectionism and isolationism. Another step toward open fascism. Check. Thanks for the reminders of things that I "ignored."
  5. Absolutely no surprise that you do not know what fascism is. I did provide you a helpful guide if you'd like to improve your vocabulary.
  6. You didn't condemn it. You kinda hedged that maybe, possibly, in some scenario, it should be condemned. Yet still couldn't bring yourself to do so. The spineless weaseling is what made me laugh.
  7. Of course! The problem isn't the fascism. The problem is people pointing out the fascism. It hurts the fascists' feelings. No fair!
  8. Well, he's factually wrong. Perhaps he simply doesn't know the definition of fascism. Here's a quick reminder. Element of Fascism Met by Trump Admin? Examples / Notes Authoritarian Leadership βœ… Partially Sought loyalty over competence (e.g., purging disloyal officials), challenged checks and balances, praised dictators, but remained constrained by courts and elections. Extreme Nationalism βœ… Yes β€œAmerica First” rhetoric; Muslim ban; harsh immigration stances; vilification of foreign nations (esp. China, Mexico); emphasis on β€œreal Americans.” Militarism βœ… Partially Public glorification of military; increase in defense spending; use of forceful language about protestors. But no large-scale foreign wars. Use of Military Against Civilians βœ… Yes Deployed federal agents (some unidentified) against protestors (e.g. Portland 2020); threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act during BLM protests. Suppression of Dissent βœ… Partially Labeled protestors as β€œterrorists”; encouraged violence against journalists; denied legitimacy of opposing views; but no official ban on dissenting organizations. Scapegoating of Minorities βœ… Yes Blamed immigrants for crime, disease, and job loss; Muslim ban; demonization of Black Lives Matter; use of terms like β€œChinese virus.” Aggressive Deportation & ICE Tactics βœ… Yes ICE agents abducted people without clear warrants; families separated; some deported without hearings. Secretive and masked agents in cities like Portland. Disdain for Democracy / Electoral Integrity βœ… Yes Refused to concede 2020 election; promoted baseless fraud claims; pressured officials to β€œfind votes”; incited Jan. 6 insurrection. Propaganda and Control of Narrative βœ… Partially Constant misinformation via Twitter; β€œalternative facts”; hostile labeling of mainstream press as β€œfake news”; but no legal takeover of media outlets. Takeover of Cultural Institutions βœ… Partially Attempts to control or defund institutions like the Smithsonian, NEA, NEH, Kennedy Center; appointed ideologically driven leaders; but didn’t achieve full control. Anti-Intellectualism βœ… Yes Dismissal of science (e.g., COVID, climate change); vilification of academia; rejection of expertise; elevation of conspiracy theories (QAnon-adjacent rhetoric). Corporate-State Merger βœ… Partially Massive deregulation benefitting certain industries; loyalty-based contracts; nepotism; but not full integration of industry into state machinery. Cult of Personality βœ… Yes Trump-branded political identity; loyalty tests; rallies centered on personal adoration; refusal to accept loss as legitimate. Use of Violence or Threats βœ… Partially Encouraged violence at rallies; called for rough treatment of protestors; support from far-right militias; but no formal paramilitary force. One-Party Rule ❌ No Democratic institutions remained in place; opposition party held power in Congress and state governments. Total Media Control ❌ No Trump attacked media and used federal agencies to attack critics, but never gained state control of it; independent journalism remained active and critical. If you're waiting for one party rule and total media control to call fascists fascists, then your criticism is coming far too late.
  9. Between 18 and 40. Just look at this young whippersnapper, a mere 31 years of age. He'll probably grow out of being a rabid racist. When Luke Mosiman, the chair of the Arizona Young Republicans, asked if the New Yorkers in the chat were watching an NBA playoff game, Giunta responded, β€œI’d go to the zoo if I wanted to watch monkey play ball.” Giunta elsewhere refers to Black people as β€œthe watermelon people.” You could try reading the article before pretending you know what's in it. πŸ™„
  10. Not nobodies. Serious players in Republican politics, state senators, someone from the Trump admin. You don't care because you don't care. That's really the issue. The sitting VP brushes it off as, essentially, more "locker room talk." You people are whatabouting it like crazy. Still, nobody can manage to condemn what should be condemned. Defense of the indefensible.
  11. I'm not going to indulge your desperate whataboutism. Nor will I entertain the premise that there is any circumstance in which blatant racism and misogyny are excusable. It's beneath the dignity of decent people everywhere. You can wallow in depravity with your brethren, but I won't be joining you.
  12. Sure, except for the fact that it's the textbook definition of whataboutism. And now you propose that the "context" of racial either epithets and other hate speech might redeem the usage. Because there's got to be some kind of reasonable pro-Hitler, pro-slavery context. πŸ™„ Look, it's no surprise that these people are exactly who we think they are when they think no one is watching. Sometimes the hood slips. What's always a little surprising--and entertaining--is how eager some of you are to unmask yourselves and jump right into the hot water with them.
  13. I see that whataboutism is the first course. Pretty predictable. You could at least put in the effort to find a better whatabout though. Yes, indeed saying something hateful about one hated foe is VASTLY less offensive than blanket racism, misogyny and other such condemnable sentiment. Doesn't make it admirable, but the stark difference is pretty obvious, you know, if you're not working overtime to defend the indefensible.
  14. Politico Mixed into formal conversations about whipping votes, social media strategy and logistics, the members of the chat slung around an array of slurs β€” which POLITICO is republishing to show how they spoke. Epithets like β€œf----t,” β€œretarded” and β€œn--ga” appeared more than 251 times combined. In one instance, Walker β€” who at the time was a staffer for Ortt β€” talked about how a mutual friend of some in the chat β€œdated this very obese Indian woman for a period of time.” Giunta responded that the woman β€œwas not Indian.” β€œShe just didn’t bathe often,” Samuel Douglass, a state senator from northern Vermont and the head of the state’s Young Republicans, replied to Giunta. Clearly awful, awful people. Now we get to watch like-minded folks here line up to once again defend the indefensible.
  15. Look at your post to which I replied and then shove "rule #2" right back up your Trump hole. You use Twitter because it's easier than thinking for yourself. Like a kid who thinks copying and pasting Wikipedia is "doing the homework." A (well established) toolbag from Fox said something, another toolbag reposed it on Twitter, you reposted it here as if it is substantive information. Congratulations, you're the bad end of the human centipede.
  16. Eh, that's rich coming from a guy who get's 100% of his information and opinions from the Twitter algorithms--including this thread. You still haven't realized that you are the product, dummy, and you're just farking thrilled to be manipulated. Try again when you have actual information to share.
  17. Sure. They made up a "hoax" and it just turned out to be true. One-in-a-million shot. They sure are lucky! πŸ™„
  18. Pretty far ahead of yourself, no? It's far from established (and likely to stay that way) that James committed any kind of fraud. Trump, on the other hand clearly did so. It's also pretty preposterous to equate a checkbox in a pile of paperwork with massively overstating property sizes and values. But why don't we see if she even did anything wrong before trying to compare apples to watermelons.
  19. Smarter and more loyal. Huge upgrade.
  20. It's a BDSM dynamic. Subs want nothing more than a strongman to spank them hard and spit in their mouths. Trump is that guy for Canadian MAGA.
  21. It's also about a 4+% bump in home value, so the investment will covered even if they decide to move. Turns out having $0 electric bills is a huge selling point. Just leave the electric bill on the counter while the agent is showing. πŸ‘
  22. I just finished a solar installation at my home. The payback is just under 5 years at current rates--and the rates continue to climb. Great for the environment and for my finances.
  23. I see you're still mainlining the fever swamp juice, but there's nothing new here. Just impotent howling in an effort to deny documented, established facts. Fact 1: Russian intelligence engaged in a an influence operation to interfere in the US election and help secure a Trump victory. Fact 2: Trump's campaign chairman was working with known Russian intelligence officers, feeding them the campaign strategy and internal polling data they needed to effectively orchestrate their influence campaign. And going through extraordinary machinations to conceal those connections and cover all tracks. Those things happened. It's thoroughly laid out in the congressional record, documented in excruciating detail. Those facts are not "made up" intelligence. They have nothing to do with Obama and the CIA. The Republican-led intelligence committee report was released in 2020, FFS. You can pretend all you like that Trump is a good guy and nobody should care that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia, but obviously people do care. If they didn't, they (and you) would stop lying about it in an attempt to rewrite history.
  24. Sure, who was actually president over the FBI is just a technicality. Lol And Wray was a Trump appointee, but secretly following Biden's orders. Probably Patel too. That's the only possible explanation. Definitely not gullible MAGA fools blindly following a pathological liar--no matter how unmoored he is from reality.
