What one does with their money and how they spend it is up to them. I have friends that have significantly higher income than me but always seem broke. Their lifestyle has them where they are.

New here and the headline caught my attention. Why is Québec so inefficient and poor? Well, in my opinion, Quebec is like the indigenous of this Country. Always getting everything it wants with no consequences.
