  3. Ho Humm ...... Guffaw Guffaw Guffaw
  4. I think the up front cost is higher than the operators could borrow moey to start so government steps in. be it grants, loans Business development bank loans or some other government program. No government of any political party ever has good records financing private enterprise. It is more often for local MP's to show their constituents they are doing something LOL
  5. So, don't.... Guffaw Guffaw Guffaw
  6. Your obsession with arguing and disagreement is abysmal. LOL Oh, and back to your old ways of name calling too LOL. It is jusy you, being your obnoxious self LOL You are falling into that loser bucket again Ha Ha Ha.
  7. I think the government investment is to provide jobs and is for the export market. The government supports many businesses for job reasons and for export purposes. I do not think that the product is aimed at Canadians (although there are some from different cutures that would buy them) Not defending any wasteful government , just saying governments, be they federal, provincial or municipal, all fund entrepreneurial efforts to provide jobs.
  8. What is wrong with you??? I did look it up and posted the info. Dude....maybe the one looking stuff up should be you. LOL Your obsessive need to argue and disagree is so old. The OP is trying to make an asinine political issue of crickets. Crickets have been eaten for thousands of years....long before the so called "climate change". thing. When did people start eating crickets? "Cave paintings in Altamira, north Spain, which have been dated from about 30,000 to 9,000 BC, depict the collection of edible insects and wild bee nests, suggesting a possibly entomophagous society." "Consumption of insects in China and Western countries. The tradition of eating insects in China dates back more than 3000 years and has outlasted various dynasties (Chen et al., 2009, Zhi‐Yi, 1997)." For the OP.... even the bible says oyu can eat crickets "The insects you are permitted to eat include all kinds of locusts, bald locusts, crickets, and grasshoppers..All other winged insects that walk along the ground are detestable to you."
  9. The bible thumper just needs to get with it LOL "Worldwide, crickets are the fourth most popular edible insect, behind beetles, caterpillars and flying insects like bees and wasps. “Crickets are very high in protein per volume, and science is finding that they’re easier to farm than animals are,” Czerwony says, “so more and more, we’re seeing crickets processed into protein powders.”" "In North America, acheta powder, aka cricket powder, is becoming more and more popular among people who want to experiment with more environmentally friendly ways to get enough protein. Here’s what you need to know about eating crickets."
  10. Just more partisan political bunk from the resident bible thumper LOL
  11. Exactly what does cricket farming have to do with climate change? Crickets are a food source eaten world wide https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7835793/ https://www.researchgate.net/figure/A-world-map-showing-countries-where-crickets-are-consumed-as-food-USA-United-State-of_fig1_347522792 You need to get out of your basement LOL

  17. Nope...just a loud and boisterous laugh at you once again. But if it sounds like Gomer Pyle laughing at you....so be it. Next election? When PP wins? That is not news, that is a given LOL
  18. I am far from naive. I have ;lived long enough to know all political parties are the same and also long enough to know one political party does not please all Canadians. To try and come up with conspiracy theories to satisfy your political beliefs makes you naive, not me LOL The fool is you if you think one is better than the other or that some think tank runs the world LOL
  19. Guffaw Guffaw, Guffaw Those that live in the past have no future
  20. Nope, if you followed his diatribe then you are as whacked as he is LOL
