What did you expect? Joe's the oldest Swamp Creature in America...I think he's the oldest anyway... As for Pixie-Dust Trudeau...he's an embarrassment. Every time he opens his mouth, I wanna stuff one of his cute sockies in his mouth. -

1. Because it's the truth. 2. You might win that bet. But...Ashli Babbit was trespassing on her own capital. Every American's capital. Not really trespassing now...is it. 3. Might have...could have...they didn't die on January 6th and any link to January 6th is opinion. Let's stick to facts. 4. I'm not surprised. -

Oh lord yes. Had I been in his cabinet, I would have swatted him every time he used Twitter. Policy wise though? Spot on. The actual results speak for themselves. The USA had energy independence. Do you realize the damage Joe's done on that? -

On january 6th only Ashli Babbit died...as a result of her entry to the capital...and a freaked out cop who knowingly shot dead an unarmed woman.! None of the other deaths can be shown as having been caused by anything other than fate. And I'm quite skeptical of that fire extinguisher story. -

Well...we disagree on the wall. It needs to be finished. I sense you don't appreciate Trump. That's fine. Was it the bluster or the policies -

That too...its sad. I think most knew Joe was gonna botch the job. I think he made a deal with Bernie and his rabid pack o' jackals. Poor old fool is simply snookered. Ah well...this too can be repaired. I actually don't think Trump should run again. The left would have a millenial freak-out and oppose everything and anything again. There are options. Don't get me wrong though. I'd fully enjoy the theater of another Trump presidency. -

I worked for "the feds" canuck style at the beginning of my career. One of my first lessons was...play the game or they'll drum you out. Which made things really interesting during the referendum. -

I think he makes strong decisions. However the decision might be precluded with a lot of marble-mouth junk. -
Meh... I had sniffles and chills for 1 night...

The trick is to find strength with honour. I think Carter was honourable...but he was weak. Reagan was fairly honorable...except the whole Iran/Contra thing. He had a sort of howdy-doody strength too. Trump has strength. Honour? I think the court is still out on that one. We wiil find out though it looks like. -

Gone??? -
No. But I don't get sick. I don't remember the last time I was really ill. So when the wife came down and I felt...shitty right way, I figured it was this highly contagious bug.
-
I can't believe anyone actually trusts those tests anymore.
-
My wife had cancer. She's better now. I hope the same for you.
-
Huh...concerned enough to shut everything down eh? For a very manageable bug. The cost has always been way too high.

Dude...you really need to know when you're making an ass of yourself. Really. I'm trying to give you good advise now. Liz Cheney was/is right...about what then? What has Liz Cheney said about Jan 6th and/or Donald Trump, that actually holds water? Spell it out. "spivs and tintookies" Huh? -
Well...being an old hippie type, I still harbour this unreasonable hatred of haircuts. I know its silly but... Ya I got Omicron over the holidays. Most of family did. I think my wife brought it in from the bar but...who really knows. She was first. Before her second day, I and Twin A got it. I woke up the next day feeling good. Wifey-baby was ok after 2 days. Twin A had it for 2 days and Twin B never did get it. Our elder daughter was at our place a lot over the holidays so her and her boyfriend got it too. 2 or 3 days each. I do know a guy who got the original strain. It floored him for over a week. He's a very healthy man of about 65. I golf with him regularly. I didn't know this before but, it turns out he has diabetes. Diabetics don't seem to do well with The Rona.

OK I'm game if you are. But remember...other people do read this stuff. Jus' sayin'... The final total? Good gravy man! Two people died at that riot. One was a drug overdose apparently. Why is that so hard for you to admit? See...this is what I mean when I say..."other people do read this stuff". Liz Cheney confirmed nothing but her own hatred for Trump. That and her affection for cry-babies like Adam Kinzinger. She's out already. Adam is too. Hillary-Billary Clinton For President! Ho hooo...I can hardly wait. BTW...will you PLEASE learn to use the quote function? -
Whatever...we seem to agree on a path forward. Take the win and move on. We have a TON of catching up to do now.
-
Well there's a difference between you and I then. I have never been stressed out about The Rona. My stress comes from the silly reaction to it. "People could die!" "Yes. Some probably will. Mostly the elderly who are fat or have some other medical problem. Its a design flaw. We die. We could have used a third arm and hand as well but that's another story." That's been my position from the start. Oh I got vaxed. I took the jab because, if I didn't, I couldn't hang out at my wife's bar anymore. I have thing for free beer...go figure. Besides, I'm not planning any more spawn at my age. Making my kids take it did piss me off a bit.

Indeed it is. That's what happens, when you lock up the entire public. Make them all wear those smelly gawd forsaken masks that don't seem to work. Tell people they are dirty. I remember a saying..."Follow THE Science." Remember that? Do you know what the problem with that statement and course of action is? There happens to be more than 1 science. We haven't flowed the science at all. We've followed A science. And it happens to be the one wherein the masters of said science, take a friggin' oath to DO NO HARM. Medical doctors are duty and honour bound to err on the side of caution when it come to the physical health of people. Yet...we've heard from other sciences...and not taken heed. Doug, if your paying attention, this is why You're Fired! You KNEW the other sciences were telling you to stop this nonsense a year ago at least. But you didn't have the leadership qualities it takes to stand up to your critics and make your case. Instead...you crumbled.

If I may..."Perhaps"??? I think you're missing the point here. There is no "Perhaps" anymore. IMO, we should first move to where we were a month ago, with most things mostly open...with masks when thought necessary. Not because the limits would help anyone...we all know they don't now...but so that the more...upset among us don't start freaking right out. Then...about May...open season. Now understand that this would happen as spring and summer hit, so the infection rates will drop like stones. It'll be safe...till about mid-October, when infections will rise. Much like...OMG...the bloody flu. Make vaccines available to those who wish a yearly dose, but drop any requirements. Those who are now 'pure-bloods' will not take the vax.! Accept that and move friggin' on.
