  1. The good news is there are people in the US who do understand why it needs to be gone, unlike yourself, and lets hope they succeed so people will perhaps feel more inclined to vote.
  2. I prefer intellectual borders as opposed to "big, beautiful, lovely, hugely big"....steel walls.
  3. Nothing to do with state borders. Voting districts. Apparently you are the one lacking knowledge of the issue.
  4. Yes it does. When you can redraw borders that will favor your party thats called gerrymandering, and it has been shown to work well.
  5. I must inform you he is talking about a different border. Perhaps geography isn't yout strong suit. Look south.
  6. You think it's "butthurt" to want to allow the majority of the people have their say? I suggest you go live in Afghanistan.
  7. Nope, in favor of Repubs. You do understand the term gerrymandering do you?
  8. Ah, they didn't vote. If they do so this time, Trump should begin packing up whatever trivia he will have brought to the oval office.
  9. Watch, laugh, and be so happy that we have that border.
  10. It is outdated but more importantly is is fixed in favor of Republicans. If they want to keep it they should square it up. With Trump in power that's not likely to happen now is it.
  11. Well as I've already said, if the educated young folk get off the couch and go vote, which they are saying they will do, Trump is done.
  12. And you have my permission to bow down to the Donald. Hopefully he won't grab you while you're down there.
  13. Except it is broke, it's biased by gerrymandering, and it's totally outdated. It had a purpose when it was brought into being, but that was a long time ago. Wherever people live in the US they can now be aware of what's happening in Washington.
  14. Only while they're sitting. I'm sure he is paying Guilliani big bucks to sit beside him in case 2020 goes bad for him.
  15. The point is EC votes may or not reflect the popular vote. They didn't in 2016, although that wasn't the first time. It's an antiquated system that needs to be gone.
  16. Ted headed into the swamp, and that's where he belongs.
  17. And getting back to Trump, which is what this thread is supposed to be about, I will be interested to hear out of the Mueller report, that even though anything Trump did did not rise to the level of indictable, what slightly lower level did it rise to. Lets open that file.
  18. so what is your idea as to what decided EC votes?
  19. Correct. We are not so narrow minded as to limit the people who are allowed to run for office to those who happened to be born here. Such limitations ends you up with twits like Trump.
  20. Typical American arrogant assumption. So off you go to bed.
  21. Pay attention, the discussion was about the math. When you have more than 2 party's one can win without gaining the majority of votes.
  22. You're not serious of course? Democrats, Republicans. Full stop. In reality.
  23. US more political parties? Really? Democrat, Republican... that adds up to lets see...2.
  24. I suggest you go look up where the term gerrymandering came from because obviously you don't. Shows what you know.
