for many generations as technology develops less fuel will be used to create the same amount of energy and more of the resources will be discovered claims of it running out any time in the foreseeable future have been greatly exaggerated

those resources aren't infinite but they aren't in danger of running out any time soon more of each is being discovered all the time so no need for heavy handed government intervention that hurts the economy

Trudeau benefitted even if those two specifically weren't Trudeau supporters they did him a solid and helped him more than the vast majority of his supporters ever did likely egged on by agent provocateurs

so? like I care what the masses think argument ad populum is a fallacy just because a large group of people believe something doesn't make them right

which is exactly why these protests were staged to push more naive Canadians into Trudeau's camp and away from the opposition just when the opposition was rising in the polls he would still win without them but it made for a nice safety net, nonetheless

hell no but I will still criticize politicians and not only the people who do the above are allowed to do that

the consequences should not include government mandated segregation based on vaccinated status that's just punitive and unnecessary with minimal upside that "cure" is worse than the disease

I don't expect the government to cater to my beliefs simply pointing out that most Canadians do not want change hence why Trudeau and O'Toole are practically political twins

they made their choice, their supporters made theirs not everyone has to make the same choice their body, their choice

nowhere near as selfish as taking away people's rights for a false sense of security throw more stones from your glass house

the same is true of NDP voters scared of O'Toole and there are a lot more NDP supporters than PPC supporters even if all PPC supporters vote CPC, Trudeau is still going to win

Quebec is more restrictive on immigration than the rest of Canada but that's a language thing, not a temperature thing it's cold in other provinces too, some even colder than Quebec, and yet they are more pro-immigration than Quebec regardless

both and they aren't the only ones

temperature differences is a non-sequitur just because Canada and America are different in some ways does not disprove they are similar in others

they have every right to roll the dice you have every right to not agree with that decision there is only a problem if you wish to use that as justification to strip them of their rights

they didn't choose to contract the virus any more than the vaccinated if you only have sympathy with those who exercise their rights in a way you agree with then it is obvious why you don't care about their rights you have no moral high ground they aren't trying to take away your rights if anyone has the moral high ground, it's those who oppose taking away others rights

hence why support taking away their rights for a false sense of security it's all about revenge for not behaving the way you want them to you think that is grounds to treat them like scum, all while you claim false moral high ground

overloads in some areas does not mean the system was anywhere close to failing they keep claiming doomsday is right around the corner and then everytime it doesn't they simply claim it's right around the corner again and you keep falling for it

so? the system handled it no doomsday despite all the claims to the contrary that it couldn't

so? patients get moved all the time, pandemic or no pandemic the ICUs handled it, the doomsday never came even with a much smaller percentage of the population vaccinated

the ICUs will be fine either way they keep claiming the ICUs will be pushed beyond capacity and it never happens boy who cried wolf over 9000 how many times do they have to pull this stunt before you stop taking their word for it? if it doesn't happen this time, are you going to buy it the next time they claim it will happen?
