  1. Until you’re on the wrong end of it. Don’t take freedom for granted.
  2. Walk away from responsibility and see what happens. You won’t like it.
  3. Canada will always support vulnerable people. The US used to do more of that.
  4. Then get out of NATO and act alone. Putin’s goal all along. He’d love to get his hands on the Baltics and other Eastern European countries, but sure, America can handle it alone.
  5. Are you suggesting that certain NATO members are to get special treatment? Show me the evidence. Pure speculation.
  6. Yup the current POTUS doesn’t care about Ukraine.
  7. If the US reduced its arms budget to the average percentage of GDP that other NATO members are paying, it would still be a superpower capable of destroying the world and playing the role necessary for NATO to provide ample defence of members. US defence spending excess is a choice. It’s about maintaining the entrenched military industrial supply complex Eisenhower warned you about.
  8. An act of war on one NATO member is an act of war on all NATO members. You don’t get to adjust the level of support depending on whether the attacked member is more or less favoured by one NATO member. Poland gets the same respect and support as the US, Canada, etc.
  9. Just don’t forget that you’re following a script intended to destabilize the US and NATO, Five Eyes, etc. It was written by Russian intelligence. Master stroke, Vlad!
  10. I like the Canadian way. I hope you see the value in the US Constitution. It’s a good document.
  11. See it’s that kind of behaviour that leads to double speak and shadow governments, where the “official” government says one thing publicly and manipulates everything behind the scenes. It’s everything people hated about the KGB and CIA. I get that this sometimes happens for security reasons, but it’s a slippery slope. Either we honour the extradition treaty and follow legal process or we don’t. Do you really want to lose honest brokers? Lying and manipulating are dangerous, exhausting and ultimately counterproductive actions. Eventually people figure it out and credibility is lost.
  12. Wow, so either you’re both the same person or you’ve been badly manipulated. Most of what’s been posted is a Russian hack. Proceed with caution.
  13. So proud of Canada. Protect it. Love America too, but allies need to stick together. China and Russia are working hard to undermine and not even America can go it alone.
  14. You do realize we’ve been watching you Russians manipulate this site and US politics the whole time. China comes on and off the site, but Russia has really turned this into an art form. Everyone on here, don’t be fooled.
  15. No, because unlike your oligarchy where people are subjugated in subsidiaries (I assume you’re Russian), Canadians are into self determination and democracy.
  16. I’ve said it before. I think Canada and the blue states would form a great union. Instead you have two Americas at war, a more subtle and revamped civil war in the US. It doesn’t matter. It’s all good, the “Eskimo commies” and the southern Bible Belt rednecks can still find common ground.
  17. Trump sucks, dude. Get a new leader. You can take Trudeau too.
  18. Despite the overly activist pet projects, Ontario became pretty great under Wynne: Strong economy, full day kindergarten, green economy. Yes it was getting expensive but we have been at the forefront. Ford is taking us backwards. The backlash was inevitable. Liberals in for too long.
  19. No, most of us just don’t buy into the prez’s narrative and approach. Many Americans don’t either. It’s really not about the American people.
  20. They trusted the British North American colonials, the Canadians.
  21. The US is a close ally but it’s also problematic. Canadians want to protect Canada and are protecting their freedoms and values any way they can. I mean really, you have a president who seems compromised by Russian interference. Can Americans trust their leadership? If China demonstrated progressive values and democratic freedom, we’d want them on the team. Instead they are looking more and more like North Korea. Problem is, Trump looks a bit like Putin, a dictator. It’s dumb and dumber...
  22. I don’t think Wuawei would’ve been given so much license under Harper and I think he’d go to the wall diplomatically, closing doors, which Trudeau seems afraid to do. In fairness to Trudeau, Harper didn’t have Trump to deal with. Trump doesn’t seem to respect allies. It’s hard for Trudeau to discern whether he can count on US support. The POTUS has lost credibility and trust this past year.
  23. See we have more to worry about from people like you than the Liberal Party. Really, “faggot”?
  24. No, it was about business opportunity and hope that China was making real political progress, but China just isn’t as cool as we thought. Again, Trudeau was naive and I sometimes wondered if he would’ve been comfortable with the One Child Policy. His exclusion from the party of pro life candidates and his summer jobs pro choice hiring requirement was creepy and very China.
