    The FBI is held to a higher standard in that if they want to bring forward an accusation they are supposed to have adequate evidence to win a court case. The CIA can work from a preponderance of evidence stance.

    I think in the moment we should reflect back on the fact that we had our share of racism is this country that caused this event to happen, and then be happy that we have progressed far enough to where we can put her face on our money to remind us of the past, while giving us hope for the future.

    The press didn't really have to say anything, Trump dug his own hole with all his racist blather and hrumphing around behind Hillary to try to intimidate her etc. There are of course some knuckle draggers who like that sort of crap, and then there are those who held their noses and voted Trump because they hope he will bring their jobs back. Boy are they going to find themselves sadly fooled!

    I think we were talking about how government acquisition of SAR aircraft is done. Did you lose track?

    I agree with the idea of independent oversight for such transactions. There was in this case and it did what it was supposed to do. We finally have planes ordered and we saved money.

    The capabilities of the 295 meet the requirements as laid out, and costs significantly less. I never said half the price. But as I said, go look up the unit purchase price and you will begin to get the picture.

    It sounds like what you are trying to say now is that the government didn't look at the costing and considered that into their decision. Sounds like you have gone in a circle and are now saying that costing is the most important aspect. I imagine the government looked at the costing for all contenders. We just haven;t seen all the numbers.

    I have posted variously about the Russian biz, and we will see what the EC does Dec 19. I am quite aware of the potential they have to dump trump. Not sure what your "only goal" comment is about.
