As far as I am concerned the people voted to exit the EU. Then it's get back to doing what is needed to run a country without the EU telling the British people as to how they will run their own country. Canada works well without being a member of the EU so where is there a problem here? The UK can still make trade deals with the EU if they want too.

The UK did not make a mistake by wanting to leave the EU. The majority of the British people voted for and seemed to think that the EU was more of a problem and concern for the British people rather than of any use to them especially when it came to immigration. They got tired of the EU running Britain and the people voted to leave. Now the British government is trying to have another vote on Brexit despite what the British people have told them what they want done. They want out. And even before the British are allowed to leave the EU the EU is demanding that they have to accept some of the EU rules. And It is also starting to look like the traitorous MP's of Britain are trying to do a 180 on Brexit and are forcing another vote on the British people with no doubt the fix will be in and Britain will end up staying in the EU. This is why I always say and appears to be quite true that all politicians are pretty much all traitors to we the people. They have and show nothing but contempt for the people who pay their salaries. They have become the boss now and the people have become the slaves. The only thing that we the people can all expect from our dear leaders is for more government, more taxes, and less freedom. Shame on them.

The word racism is being overplayed and is mostly applied by the left wing liberal media to white people to try and shut down anyone who is white and who dares to question or make comment about another race of people. Most new immigrants today have no need to assimilate and become a part of Canadian culture. They pretty much have their own TV, radio stations, newspapers, churches, community centers, restaurants and businesses where they can speak their own language with not much hindrance. I guess for some of them having to speak English is something that they unfortunately may have to use sometimes. Why our own governments even help pay for them to keep their language and religion and culture alive and well. Why would they want to assimilate? More like it should be for our dear leader politicians to open up the country to new development and not less. They need to stop listening to environmentalists and Native Indians and liberal socialists and allowing them to slow down the economy and projects and jobs. Trump has eliminated many regulations that stifled growth in America which will now allow the creation of many new projects and jobs for Americans. Indeed, if more of our Canadian politicians would listen too Trump more and stop trying to fight him we would do really well in Canada. Canada needs America for it's survival. Canada apparently does 80% of it's business with America. To have that taken away or reduce would be a disaster for Canada and Canadians and would really turn Canada into a third world country. All Trump is asking for is free trade not unfair trade. Again, I must repeat, why are there any tariffs at all between our two countries. We are suppose to be good neighbors and great friends. Good neighbors and great friends do not need to fight against each other like this. It is too much big government that is the problem and not the solution to we the people. My opinion.
