  1. You are purposely exaggerating what has been said to make it look like false. It is not going to work. All was said by Ottawa Councilor was that women are being violently harassed. As bad as it is, it is not rape.
  2. Hope you won't have to go through those so called minor incontinences listed by Ottawa Councilor last night.
  3. Everyone who says anything against them is the media including an Ottawa Counselor?
  4. Yes they waited and smiled for cameras while they were doing it. Nobody dares to challenge them in the slightest manner.
  5. What on earth it means there are children everywhere? What got it to do with women being violently harassed?
  6. Get the facts. Don't try to minimize the violence by lying about it or ignoring what is happening. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/ottawa/truck-convoy-police-solution-1.6337051 The ongoing and volatile protest has spurred residents to make their own stand — at the Ottawa Police Service's headquarters on Elgin Street. Rhys McGaw, a downtown resident, and others gathered for a second night on Wednesday to object to what they view as inaction by police. "In my neighbourhood, on my street, down the street, in the stores of Centretown or Lowertown — that's where people are just running amok," McGaw said. "They're looking for a fight. They're drunk. They're belligerent. They're aggressive." McGaw said he doesn't want to be harassed for wearing a mask and feels those flouting public health regulations are dangerous for doing so. Last might Ottawa Councilor was saying that women in Downtown Ottawa are being violently harassed.
  7. So women being violently harassed is just an inconvenience in your book!!!!!!!!! If true as aired by Ottawa councilor last night then those who commit these acts against women in Ottawa must be prosecuted to the full extend of the law for sedition and violence.
  8. Your Charter of Rights and Freedom doesn't say anything about the rights of people of Ottawa to safety and security and peace?
  9. I was saying it happened in all countries regardless of who was the governor or what form of government they had. I agree that financial support to those who lost their jobs as a result of pandemic should continue.
  10. Was the pandemic related hardships and loss of jobs only in Canada?
  11. If Ottawa police is powerless to deal with the situation and end the illegal occupation and sufferings of Ottawa residents then additional forces from all levels of governments should be called in to enforce the rule of law. I feel thousands of Downtown Ottawa residents are unprotected tonight now that police chief says he is not going to do anything. .
  12. It is the responsibility of a government to protect its citizens.
  13. The Chief of police is sending the wrong signal. If you are a strong group of people you can break the law and there is no police solution.
  14. Ottawa Councilor calls for Federal RCMP intervention https://montreal.citynews.ca/video/2022/02/02/ottawa-councillor-calls-for-rcmp-intervention/ She said, women are being violently harassed. Seniors are being yelled at. The chief of Ottawa police said there is no police solution!!!!. So call on the army if you are not capable of enforcing the law and protect the defenseless citizens from this mob.
  15. I fear that today's number will grow and will be reported in future days or weeks from today. It may even exceed 72 but I hope I am wrong.
  16. Trucker protests: Ottawa residents frustrated as some protesters refuse to leave.
  17. Regretfully some 72 people died today in Ontario alone in one day. This is not time to suddenly remove restrictions. Restriction should be removed but gradually in a responsible manner. Demand to immediate and total removal of restrictions and masks are totally irresponsible and will NEVER be granted.
  18. Blocking the roads. Forcing businesses to close. Making noises even late at nights. Harassing residents. Parking illegally.
  19. You are making a mockery out of yourself on a public forum. Protect our constitution by breaking the law!!!!!!!!! Really.
  20. Police cars are not able to move heavy trucks. Armored vehicles only owned by army can. Basically what you are suggesting is that if a group of strong angry mob takes over a place (a bank, a town, a city, government), then they should be allowed to get away with it and let them win or do what they want including breaking the law in order to avoid possible bloodshed? So guys if you wish to rob the central bank then do it in huge numbers with large trucks and law enforcement will not intervene fearing bloodshed, right? Not a good analogy but basically that is what you are saying. But at least you agree these people are endangering the public.
  21. They are breaking the law and the small unarmed police force appear to be unable to enforce the law or stand up against the possible very angry protesters (police intelligence is indicating a few may be even armed), and the people of Ottawa are paying the heavy price for it not to mention businesses in Ottawa are closed and people out of jobs as a result. So I said Army may have to be called in as a last resort not to kill anyone but remove the very heavy trucks which are blocking downtown roads and harassing the residents.
  22. Well get the vax. So punish the innocent people of Ottawa.
  23. The nation did elect someone just a few months ago. Now a bunch of far right extremists appear trying to overthrow the will of the nation by intimidation and occupation of the Capital city. Unfortunately the use of Arm forces may become necessary as a last resort.
  24. Reality check: There has been so many one-sided posts on this forum surrounded by anti-vaxers that a quick reality check is needed at this stage. Truckers cause chaos in Ottawa. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-60190452 Doug Ford asks trucker to go home. https://toronto.citynews.ca/2022/02/01/truckers-convoy-ottawa-doug-ford-vaccinations/ People living in Downtown Ottawa are fed up with guests overstaying their welcome.
  25. The far right is trying to bring down the democratically elected Trudeau government not through ballet boxes but by violence and intimidations. Canadians are aware of these plots and are watching the protest with disgust as it develops and will back Trudeau. In fact the whole incident will raise Trudeau's popularity and only show the true face of far right and those who support them. PPC will get less votes in the next election and same with O'Toole or whoever takes over after he is kicked out by its own party. The people of Ottawa are fed up with their city under occupation so it is time to go home.
