  1. Does that mean a person can wear both? The messages are conflicting - to wear both would be to say: "I remember WWII and the great sacrifice made by our soldiers" and "There are better ways to colve conflict than by killing strangers" simultaneously. While the two are not complete opposites, surely the respect we have for our soldiers for killing the enemy flies directly in the face of the second message?
  2. It simply seems that Crissy has trouble and is confused. Perhaps her confusion stems from her inability to see that "racists" and "other cultures" are not mutually exclusive.
  3. Exactly. But the lefties are so wrapped up in their twisted diatribes about whats not worth fighting for or what fighting is or who supports what troops when they're not fighting for something that you don't believe in after not supporting people who support the troops who are fighting for a cause in which they don't believe....blah blah blah...that they don't even get the basics. The troops 60 years ago fought for our freedom and the freedom of others. DOGGY somehow wants to twist that and accuse you of being "anti-war-hero" because you state that simple fact. Sometimes ya gotta wonder what colour ths sky is in their world.
  4. Soldiers in the battlefield would certainly disagree with yuo that supoprt from back home is meaningless - but I think lefties truly believe this to be the case (that supporty is meaningless) which is, truly, sad for our country and society.
  5. If you were capable of clearly making your point, I wouldn't have to over-simplify. But you're just confusing the issue more. Is this film a statement that people are too tolerant of racism or a statement, as you originally seemed to state, that people are too politically correct and too tolerant of other cultures? You seem to think racists and "other cultures" are mutual exclusive terms. Got it now?
  6. Why does real support necessarily involve sacrifice? I'm curious.
  7. Cindy Sheehan has a long history of extremist activism that far pre-dates the tragic loss of her son. Unfortunately she chose to capitalize and use her son's death as an opportunity to continue her ranting.
  8. If you weren't indifferent, you would make sacrifices. Cindy Sheehan has made a lot of sacrifices and she's a supposedly indifferent "lefty". What are your sacrifices, plagiarizing chickenhawk? If you don't belief speaking out for what you believe in matters, then what are you doing on this site?
  9. You think it's a statement that people are too tolerant of anti-semitism? Again you're over simplifying. But certainly people are tolerant of antisemitism and this movie apparently reveals that, among other things.
  10. Speaking out anonymously. One step up would be a visit to your Armed Forces recruitment centre. Until then, you aren't really supporting anything. Bullshit. Nice try though - trying to include me in your culture of indifference and self-loathing anti-troop crap.
  11. We all know he's a jew - I'm not sure how that's relevant. We all know he plays an anti semite - and part of the schtick is the unbelievable tolerance to his anti-semitism - something that rings completely true in today's world. Think about it. You need to look past the basic "Entertainment Tonight" stuff your MSM feeds you. C'mon. Crissy - think...I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT
  12. Yeah, I'm sure someone like our own Army Guy patrolling some Afghan backwater amid the omnipresent threat of bombs and bullets would think to themselves "thank god there's people at home willing to make the sacrifice of rolling down their windows to yell cusswords at hippies and little old ladies." Well, shit, I'm a lefty: we're not supposed to stand up for our country, remember? What's your excuse, chicken? All I know is I'm one step up on you by beliving in my country and speaking out in favor of our mission.
  13. You think the movie is about a Jew parodying anti-semites? That's why I come on this site: to be amused by people like you.
  14. Not too bright eh? I can't waste my time - just keep trying.
  15. And how do you courageously stand up to them? Did you risk your life doing so? I speak out whenever I get the chance. Trust me - a room full of lefty Bush haters is risky bizness Yuo all buy into the same bullshit and can't believe someone would actually support Bush.
  16. I haven't seen it - but from what I understand you are completely mistaken and revealing your lefty ignorance of the ...er..."nuance"
  17. I assume you mean the "Royal We" because you're far too much of a coward to actually enlist. Yes. It's actually the "Victorian We". And yes: I supported the war.
  18. FYI SIgns that say "CANADA OUT OF AFGHANISTAN" implicitly support the return of the Taliban.
  19. A cock is right Jerry. The question I would like to ask these "people". What if those strangers are "not willing" to sit down and have tea and bunns? What do you suggest we do then. The UN was set up for just that. A way to resolve problems without conflict. We've seen the past years the downfall's of the UN. Sometimes you just need to kick someone in the ass to make them listen. Sometimes that person will listen and there will be no need to kick them. Basically the UN didn't enforce res. 1441. Then when the USA DID, the "international community" had a hissy fit. My question to the UN is, if you didn't want to enforce a resolution, then why did you make it in the first place? We had to blow him to bits.
  20. You expect us to believe that sitting in your gonch and cut'n'pasting Ann Coulter columns is a noble and brave endevour on par with actually fighting the war you enthusiastically support? You and your ilk contribute nothing, your "support" means nothing, yet you have the unmitigated gall to denigrate the courage and integrity of those who disagree, while adopting a warrior pose despite lacking the courage of your supposed convictions to stand up and do something meaningful. In other words: BWAK BWAK BWAK BWAK-AWK! At least I have the courage to stand up to those who march down the street supoprting the Taliban. But I wouldn't expect you to understand the importance of that. Your a lefty: what in heavens name would you know about standing up for your country?
  21. Has anyone seen this yet? From what I understand this (phony) Immigrant from Khazakstan walks around uttering and acting out hugely terrible things (such as anti semitic remarks and other horrible social faux pas). Also I think most of the other people in the movie are real people who are unaware its a stunt. Basically most of the people stumble all over themselves to "appreciate his cultural differences" despite the terrible things he says and does. Sound like a country you know and stand on guard for thee???? Apparently if you think our "tolerant" society has gone too far you'll find this movie to be hilarious (ie. you'll "get it"). If your a lefty PC tolerance foot soldier - you probably won't even understand it. Anyway - I can't wait to check it out and I think for anyone who likes to discuss issues of the day - this will be a good discussion topic.
  22. Best you check the demographics re the election in 2004. Bush would not have won without the evangelical vote. The fact that some of them are shifting now shows you how bad Bush's policies have been. No it doesn't. It means they changed their mind. Which is the point of the article: The lefty CBC media BS that Bush's "base" is white evangelical christians is simply not true. Another CBC fabrication debunked.
  23. And when this happens, will the Main Stream Media notice? No, they will suddenly notice how the glass is half full in regards to everything. Oh well, at least it will be a different tune. What's really embarassing is how the MSM still puts on this "objective" front. It would be alot more respectable if they just came out and said "OK hate bush - now here's the news."
  24. Yeah: you're a real warrior, dude. First to fight (on the X-Box). It's one thing to support the war. It's another thing to cop the macho tough guy pose to slag off others while you cower safe at home. If you're going to call others out for cowardice, you'd beter have sand in your asscrack, boy. Otherwise you're nothing but a chickenhawk chickenshit. As I said: nations go to war. Wars are more than just guns. Wars are ideas and values. I support what our troops and American troops are fighting for overseas and I speak up in their defense and value their contribution to what is right and good in this world, which is a heck of alot more than you and the other Hussein/Ahmedinejad/JongIl apologists can say.
  25. Only people who actually know what the red poppy represents should be allowed to comment on this. Since 1921, the Poppy has stood as a symbol of Remembrance, our visual pledge to never forget all those Canadians who have fallen in war and military operations. The PPU website states: "The White Poppy symbolizes the belief that there are better ways to resolve conflicts than killing strangers," states the website. What a crock of shit. Typical lefty view: let's all just sit around and chat. The problem with lefty viewpoint on war is that they don't want it. Ever. NOTHING is worth dying for. This type of thinking places alot of faith in the Hitlers, the Kim Jong Ils, the Ahmedinejads and the Saddam Husseins of the world.
