The problem is parents can plan all they want and then since they are both usually working with no benefits [ Harper job creation ] they end up pay cheque to pay cheque. They are always chasing their tails. Just one more thought is it not in the best interest to help parents after all we are bringing in foreign workers and I think they are costing untold millions . We hear oh no we will have a workforce shortage but wait we can fill them from other countries so you are right lets not assist our own lets open the gates.

I think the thing that bothers people is they wish to move to our country because their country is such a bad place to live then they try to make Canada like there home country. I say if you want to come here and become a Canadian citizen then you take it seriously and make an effort . I know that one big issue should be Integrity followed by accountability lets make this #1 and if we can get that I think the rest will follow. See this is part of the problem in this site it seems it is always mine is bigger than yours. We as the people of this great country should realize the mainly three party system is antiquated and we need something different. I thought the whole purpose of government was to push this country ahead and make it an even greater place for us to live. So what if instead of untold millions spent on elections we have the best of the best from all parties work together to make Canada a true leader and innovator of government. I know why would actual thinking men work together when they can have access to ego inflating job titles.

I have often heard government at all levels say out loud to the press ' How do we get the voters out to vote ' ? Even this week in Calgary the turn out was terrible . I think they should look at a few factors the largest being social media..It is a lot harder to cover something up because in the wink of an eye everyone knows what has happened. Yes government offices can say no comment , and sweep scandals under the rug but guess what ? The younger generation is a lot smarter than we were and they are tired of all the lies that come from politicians. How about we hook all party leaders up to polygraph machines and every time they lie they get a jolt of electricity Well I know that won't happen but one very strange thing they might try is INTEGRITY and ACCOUNTABILITY . Young people need some heroes to look up to and others have to stop voting a certain way just because daddy voted that way.and the rest please just vote lets make your voice heard. This mostly three party system in a great country like ours is antiquated time to figure out a new system one that stops the wealthy lobbyists from buying votes that belong to us. The most important pillar in a civilized society is Integrity and sadly it has gone missing in action. Lets figure out a way to make these officials see that they are there to serve our best interest and not their own . Lets end the golden hand shakes and behind door deals where we come out as the losers . Maybe they should take the oath of office and at the same time sign a contract that states they will loose the position if they are caught in a lie or anything unlawful . Lets be real how about the fact that they fought about it in the house , How about reading the sites I put up and lastly it was the parti quebecois who stood up and did the right thing. Call me skeptical but the oil companies are the ones who will benefit from fracking and we know that if they say it is safe then it must be. come on people these are the same mega companies that thought the cost of double hulled vessels was a big waste of money , how did that work out ? oh don't worry they got fines and had to pay for the clean up NOT really they just inflate prices to cover their costs would it not be great if we could all do that. Rail spills , Pipeline fractures and now again TRUST US IT IS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST . Hey lets all wake up and say sorry the water is the most valuable resource we have and I want it there when my great great grandchildren come along. It is a matter of life and death. Shock but the water is ours and let the big oil companies spend money to discover a new source because there is no proof it does not harm the water systems and with out proof they should be banned from fracking.

I guess as not to offend anyone I would like to just ask people on this site ? When did crimes against humanity become something that we turn a blind eye to ? My case and point MR. Harper knowing that ASBESTOS of any kind can cause cancer when inhaled banned it's use in Canada but at the same time trained and paid millions of dollars to lobbyists to push this very product on the poor working class of countries like India , Thailand , Mexico and Sri lanka as well as refusing to sign the Rotterdam accord there for blocking any warning labels being put on this product and subjecting the working poor io breathing this deadly mixture in every day. Mr Harper by his position on the subject said he knew more than the International Agency for Research on Cancer as well as the World Health Organization. The only reason this was done was to get some of the votes in Quebec. Many people that work there in the asbestos industry have died and many more will because of what he did . Are human rites that far down his list that votes come first. Again we let these people get away with it and yet we never change I say we should start a lawsuit against the sitting house for misappropriation of funds . They are there to work for us it would be the same as going to the bank and they say NO we will not show you your account . When did we go to being 1930's Germany ?

I would like to say that there is choices in everything we do and for me I think that being a Canadian is about being fair and I think we should give some one else a try worse comes to worse if they have done no good get rid of them. It is my opinion that a man ( Harper ) who refused to label cancer causing asbestos products and blocked others by not signing the Rotterdam accord is not a choice he is a sociopath and then even though he banned its use here he paid lobby groups both here and in India to push it on the poor third world nations. He then acts like there is no proof . I guess lives of average people in this country and those of the poor in third world means nothing . So as I said we have choices and with mine I will do the right thing and that is think of others that need our help say shame on Harper for his crimes against humanity and vote for some one else.
