  1. By now many of you have run out of plastic garbage bags, due to the government-imposed moratorium on plastic bags in grocery stores.

Perhaps you even went and bought some plastic garbage bags, as we did, but found they are bigger. They still fit in the can if we fold the extra plastic out of the way.

Result- we are throwing out more plastic now, and paying a higher price for it.

Am I the only one who sees the absurdity in what's going on here? What about you dunderheads

Needless to say, I use those boxes.  Those boxes from produce, are quite sturdy too!

I find that Freshco is at least, helping out.

Costco does that with the Boxes. They've never offered plastic bags. I actually keep a few of the big produce boxes I got at Costco in my Garage for anytime I go there. It's much easier to unpack a big box than several bags.

They also usually have staff that will "bag" or box your groceries assuming you brought your own.

I keep good ones too!  Some are great for stacking.  I deliberately choose boxes of the same kind for stacking purposes.

And - when they're soiled - no need to wash them -  just put them in the recycle bin.
