If Jack Layton had his way, everyone would make $500/week and he would hold the purse strings. If you didn't vote his way, he would reduce it to $300/week, just so a person could survive! As far as the world view of Canada, we are a bunch of peace loving morons who will let any old terrorist or extremist into our country. We have great BC pot and high alcohol percentage beer. We ride snowmobiles to work and live in igloos. Yet, we have to be proud of our strong, "standard setting" Liberal party! Pierre Trudeau was the shitbird that started it all! Good old national energy program or the national deficit. It's actually funny, after Trudeau died they wanted to name a mountain in the west after him. As you can guess it didn't fly that well! Mind you Mulrooney wasn't the Conservatives finest moment! In general Canadians are viewed as harmless people, now with the Liberal corruption, the world is starting to see that we are pulling more to the left and are willing to be corrupted and controlled by the minorities. Don't you just love politically correctness? I don't want to join the states, but I'm not a proud Canadian. At least Americans are proud of their country!

Liberal voters are usually middle of the road with a left wing tendency. They mostly represent people who are easily pursuaded and generally uninformed. They go which ever way the wind blows. They have no real policy except that they don't like what they like to call the "extremist" voter. Basically Liberal voters have sub-standard IQ's! (The 80-90 range)!!!!

Of once you achieve your goal of separating Alberta from Canada you will likely need to start a party to get Calgary to seperate from Alberta because those polictians in Edmonton are all crooks. Next, of course will be to get North Calgary to separate from South Calgary.... You will also need to get a posse to lynch all those nastly left wingers living in Alberta (about 40% of population the last time I checked). Having to live in a democratic country with people who disagree with you must be quite horrible. You have my sympathy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 40% of Albertans are Left wing?? If you live in Ontario or Quebec it is democratic, if you live in the west or east, you're screwed! We live in a communist society which is run by Ontario & Quebec, if they don't like it, it doesn't fly. So you can take your sympathy and stick it up your ass, lets separate!!! If we can't separate, maybe Ottawa opens it's tunnel vision eyes and sees that we supply Canada with all the money to pretty up Ontario & Quebec! Also, maybe Ottawa will realize that just because most of us were born in Canada, doesn't mean we should be treated like a lesser person than an immigrant. Or treated like a lesser person because English is our first language! Hey and while we're at it, maybe we should have a lawsuit against half of the Liberal party for calling us "redneck", would that not qualify for slander? Yet when that thing(Stronach) is called a dipstick or a whore it qualifies as slander. It comes right down to the fact that, if you were born in Canada, spoke English first, male, heterosexual, with any religious background whatsoever, you're SCREWED! Sad but true!

Where are our resident Right Wingers you ask? Well, most of them are probably working! Unlike the Liberals & NDP who have union jobs and use company time to post on these forums and boost each others egos!!! As you can tell by my name, I am a Conservative. I read what you people post here about Stephen Harper and it makes me laugh. You people have no idea why you seem to hate him and spout some bullshit about same sex marriage & abortion. Truth be told, the reason you hate him is because of the image that Liberals put in your mind, by using tax dollars to advertise that very view of a Hitler reincarnate. If you really thought about what Harper stands for, you'd find he has no "hidden agenda", and that he mainly wants to rid Canadians of a Corrupt Liberal government. The Conservative party has a slightly right wing agenda and wants to make Canada a working country, not a union one, like we have now. What the hell is wrong with that? I believe that unions have their place and keep employers honest, but when people don't work to earn a paycheck, then it has gone too far. Look at our hospitals for example. Have you ever seen a more corrupt place?(Other than the Liberal party) As far as the same sex legislation, why not let Canadians decide? If it went to a vote, that legislation would be defeated by a large number, yet the bill is sliding through the house. Even Liberal representatives are standing up with letters from their constituents saying, "one man & one women excluding all others", yet these same people, voted in favor of the legislation! How is that for representation??? Good old democracy! So for you Harper haters, I challenge you to tell me what your Liberal party has done for you. Better yet, tell me what your Prime Minister has done for you? And lets talk about Paul Martin. What is his "hidden agenda"? Other than the fact that he'll do ANYTHING to stay in power, even if it means bribes or cash in small bags!! Stephen Harper & the Conservative Party.... The only clear alternative!
