The Auditor General's office has been begging for more funds for quite some time now, not much given the hundreds of billions the Liberals are tossing out the door, just $10 million. The Liberals have refused to address his request, and refused to answer any questions from the opposition about it. The AG has had to put off five audits his office was scheduled to do, and now they're so short of funds it will be impossible to probably examine where the Liberals are directing all that money supposedly intended to fight the economic malaise caused by the Covid19 virus. Given the way the government is acting on this file that appears to be their intention. Masses of money are going out the door in every direction and parliament is closed down for some reason, which makes it very convenient for the Liberals. Even more convenient if a party known for its corruption has no AG oversight. https://nationalpost.com/opinion/rex-murphy-the-opposition-asks-the-liberals-do-not-answer?video_autoplay=true1 point

There are 2 stories trending in the US in regards to the topic of racism. First story: https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/black-man-dies-video-shows-officer-kneeling-neck-70879963 Four Minneapolis police officers who were involved in the arrest of a black man who died in police custody were fired Tuesday. No matter what the reason was for the arrest no individual should be treated the way you can see in the video. Disgusting video. I am surprised no charges have been brought yet for second degree murder or manslaughter. It was the right call to make the public aware of this case. Second story: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/may/26/central-park-new-york-white-woman-black-birdwatcher Video of white woman calling police on black man in Central Park draws outrage. I watched that video, now you can tell she was extremely agitated and was not thinking rational in the moment. Her behavior was wrong and she apologized. The punishment came swiftly, she was fired from her investment firm, all the major media capitalized on the story and there is a new term going around as "Karen", which to me is nothing more than a racist term for someone that is Caucasian. Cases like the second story you can find in any group. I remember when I was younger and was volunteering in different community centers the most racist and anti-semitic people that I have met is other minorities. You can find individuals in every group when they are under stress or agitation that talk like that woman. The stuff that I heard in those centers is nothing in comparison to this. It is extremely dangerous to move towards this kind of system to allow instant punishment based on social media and CNN media like outlets because to me it looks like nothing more than capitalizing on the first story which is heartbreaking. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. The first story was the good intention but propaganda and capitalizing on the first story, that is the road to hell. You can go home and kneel during the anthem if you want to. But if I'm the team owner and your public display of kneeling during the anthem in my uniform is pissing off huge numbers of my customers and causing them to curse the team and tear up their seasons tickets and refuse to buy merchandise then you are damned sure going to get your ass fired.1 point

85 % in old age homes. Note that only the public ones were reported in this figure. Let's say the private ones add a few percent more. The remainder is comprised of many elderly who died at home as well. That is what I read on CBC, but it is hard to find good age-specific data. Here is a sample: Another graph is shown here: Note that most of the working-age people in the graph fall in the age group 30 up to 50-59. Yet these are the very people who are being kept home. In reality it seems many of them got the virus anyway, presumably many who didn't even know. But I digress. The bar graph shows we are doing exactly the wrong things, keeping people at home who have very low incidence of death due to virus, and not quarantining those age 60+, and not separating those in old age homes. Rather than send every Canadian home with $2000 a month, that money could have been spent to renovate a stadium into a hospital and move the old folks in. But then, guess what? Chances are they would have died anyway. Because at that age there is no way to save them, for the most part they are finished. That is why our government didn't bother to do this. They know the truth but won't admit it. Anyone who has old parents or family in old age homes knows the truth as well. Yes, people go there because they will soon die. If you agree with this, then we should all be going back to work on Monday. Have a nice weekend.1 point

Isn't it possible to talk about the thugs who are rioting, burning, looting and attacking people while NOT ignoring the event which sparked them?1 point

Not sure what you mean by "the first story was the good intention"....the suspect died while in police restraint/custody despite numerous pleas for help and obvious respiratory distress. Criminal charges are usually not filed against police for on duty actions until an investigation is completed, grand jury convened, etc. Civil liability and a large settlement from the city/insurance are presumed. The police chief and mayor should also be held accountable for the actions of these officers. The female perp in Central Park didn't commit any crime unless the police cite her for a false 911 report and/or animal abuse because of the way she was handling her dog on and off leash. Two crazy events...one much more serious than the other.1 point

Lol friends of Eyeball? Are you calling Celine Dion a commie? On a more serious note it was only a matter of time the syrupy condescending patronizing platitudes from that platypus Trudeau would be seen for what they were. That studdering fountain of feel good froth the flamboyantly flatulent fluff of a flake, Lord Justin of the house of Castro-Sinclair hoisted himself on his rhetorical petard.1 point

The British parliament is still in operation. Australia's parliament has not shut down. The US Congress is still functioning. The French National Assembly continues to operate as does the Italian Parliament. Why is Canada's parliament shut down? Because the Liberals like it that way.1 point

The only reason the nonsensical farce about 'missing and murdered indigenous women' became a thing is the cowardice of politicians, especially Trudeau, and the racist far-left ideological views of the media. The narrative they've tried to put out is of an uncaring white society which ignored the murders and sexual assaults on native women, which indeed, was responsible for such murders and needs to make restitution for them. Rarely did anyone in politics or media have the balls to point out it was native men who were responsible for the murders and sexual assaults of native women. Nor was it ever part of the narrative that the solution rate for the murder of native women was almost identical to that of white women. Instead we get these bleeding heart narratives all over the media and from activist groups which do nothing but play into the victimhood cult that so many natives have now embraced.1 point

The UN deliberately ordered Canadan troops to stand by and do nothing as thousands were murdered beforet their eyes I Rwanda. They ordered an innocent Canadian peacekeeper to remain in close proximity to a mobile missile launched by Hezbollah terrorist in the human Heights after being warned by the IDF to move the soldier as a missile was being shot back causing that soldier to die because they were more concerned thdcterrorist could be helped flee. The UN was given evidence Chinese peacekeepers in Syria were building railways to move and launch Hezbollzah missles at Israel. They did nothing. The UN was given specific warnings of mass murder ernd genocide in Mali Mauritius, Mali, Ivory Coast, Uganda, Somslia, Eritrea, Chad, Dahomey, Libya, Liberia, Congo, Zimbabwe, Uzbhekistan, Southern Sudan, Northern Iraq-Kurdistan, Iran, Chechnya, Georgia, Ukraine, Tibet, Niger, Nigeria, East Timor, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Columbia, Guatemala, El Salvador. It did nothing. Gee am I emotional aboutv hat? No. Maybe you project guilt on me. It is what it is. I have seen UN vehicles used to transport terrorists weapons and terrorists. I have seen UN hospitals used as cover for Hamas. It was what it was. When I say, the UN can phack itself it meanxbit means nothing to me. It's not worth an iota of emotion. Do not mistake me for caring about it. I feel nothing for it. To me it is a compromised cover for corruption and immorality and the WHO is a bought off puppet of China. It enables politicalmimmorality and corruption. That is opinion. Not emotion. I saved emotion for living creatures in pain.1 point
