The bottom video looks like it was filmed aboard a Light Fleet...With the Sea Vixons & Scimitars on deck, I'd assume Hermes.......I've emailed it to my mother to show Dad for comment...

Got my private on the Fleet 80. Not this one though. Nice little airplane, very strong, stalled like a brick and always tried to drop a wing if I remember correctly.

No...the controls were on the wheel yoke. Plus the firewall seemed non-existent. Bit of a pill to get into the right hand seat, too.

Sill missing my PL. But, as mentioned I have about 500 hours piloting various aircraft. Thousands as mere passenger. There's a few Fleet 80s here at YXS. They look like nice old rides. Guess not, eh?

The B-26 Maurader was one of the great medium bombers produced by the USA during the War. But, its high landing speed was responsible for many crew deaths giving it a bit of a black-mark next to more stable aircraft like the B-25 Mitchell.
