M.Dancer
I remember when being in the reserves and having a full time job were incompatible activities. Way back then the only people who valued a military record were airlines, air craft manufacturers and logistics companies..... If times are changing, then they are long over due. Still not convinced Canada has some work to do? Consider our approach to reservists: Brave men and women risk their lives on our behalf. They are not even guaranteed their jobs when they return home. It's worse than negligent, it's immoral. So what is to be done? For a start, it's time our business community stepped up to participate in the national debate about our military needs. Meet Canada Company, (www.canadacompany.ca) which is operating as a bridge between the military and business worlds. Canada Company is apolitical and does not lobby. Its motto is “Many Ways To Serve” and a Canadian community of business leaders is proud to give a voice to the people who really matter: the soldiers wearing the Canadian uniform. http://www.reportonbusiness.com/servlet/st.../robAgenda/home http://www.canadacompany.ca/
