As you might know, Dion won last December the seat that he is currently holding (liberal party leader). He is currently in lalaland right now and I am beginning to think that we might be in an entirely different situation had either Rae or ignatieff got a hold of the leadership. I remember Rae's and Ignatieff's speeches to the party and I thought that right then they had given themselves a chance to face off in a final ballot. Dion shouldn't even be mentioned. His communication skills were so weak he got his speech cut off by the timer.

The question is: who (of the top three last year) do you think would've done the best job as Liberal leader?

Jim Prentice ;)

If you are claiming a religious exemption from the hate law, please say so up front. If you have no religious exemption, please keep hateful thoughts to yourself. Thank you.

Based on what I have seen, none of them.Too much baggage from their past.

Gerald Kennedy, on the other hand is from a younger generation, and shows the greatest promise with the least amount of baggage.

He's the best choice for a Liberal Party that wants to call itself "new".

I agree with Canuck E Stan on Kennedy.

I vote for Kennedy, even though it's not in your poll. He was less than 100 votes away from becoming the leader...

Almost three thousand people died needlessly and tragically at the World Trade Center on September 11; ten thousand Africans die needlessly and tragically every single day-and have died every single day since September 11-of AIDS, TB, and malaria. We need to keep September 11 in perspective, especially because the ten thousand daily deaths are preventable.

- Jeffrey Sachs (from his book "The End of Poverty")
