Couple of articles today on a lethal suicide attack in Algeria. Okay, why Algeria again, they had this under control but the radicals in Algeria and around the world seem to be on the rise.

Is there an answer and what can these gov'ts do to protect their citizens from indiscriminate lethal attacks.

ALGIERS, Algeria (AP) - A suicide bomber in a truck packed with explosives killed at least eight people and wounded at least 20 near a military encampment southeast of the Algerian capital on Wednesday, residents said.

The truck blew up as it was passing a military tent on the edge of Lakhdaria, a town 48 miles southeast of Algiers in the restive region of Kabylie, residents said. They did not want to give their names for security reasons.

The explosion caused damage throughout the encampment and sparked panic in a region that saw widespread violence during the 1990s, and where security remains tight.

Al-Qaeda claims suicide bomb kills eight in Algeria

LAKHDARIA, Algeria -- A suicide bomber detonated explosives at an Algerian military barracks on Wednesday, killing himself and about eight soldiers in the restive Kabylie region east of Algiers, residents said.

Al Qaeda's North Africa wing said it was behind the bombing, Al Jazeera television reported.

The television said that al Qaeda Organization in the Islamic Maghreb claimed responsibility for the attack in a region east of the capital Algiers. It gave no further details.

Meanwhile, in Manilla, at least 14 Philippine soldiers were killed, including 10 who were beheaded, in the heaviest fighting in months between troops and Muslim rebels.

Not even established European governments in otherwise stable and relatively prosperous countries can figure out what to do. What's Algeria gonna do? In all likelihood, the bloodbath of conflict caused by Islamist organizations in Africa is only beginning.

Algeria is not constrained by the "civility" that constrains Europe at this point. That government will handle it just fine and far more effectively than any state in the west could at this point.

Not sure what's going on with the quotes.. but anyways, I was thinkign the exact same thing. They will kill them like they are being killed. Algeria will handle them and will hope the media stays away. I;m sure Al Quada will move on to somewhere else where the western media is easier to get per/suicide bomber.

Those Dern Rednecks done outfoxed the left wing again.
