RB Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 As a professional businesswoman I would never never wear a skirt that short (for work). Geez...I find that these "girls" (they are not women IMO) are just eye candy for men and are not meant to be taken seriously. There is a time and a place for a mini skirt and the business world is not it. Are the men that see them listening to them or just trying to look up their skirts? Pfffft -- useless as tits on a boar these "girls" are. The preferred business attire would have been ideal. For those who willingly participate, the truth is that those short skirts can accomplish many things faster/easier in any environment even if the trade-off is being considered dumb and not taken seriously. It's women like these that give the rest of us (serious, levelheaded businesswomen) a bad name and make me sick. Ladies, no matter how young you look, once you are over 35 you should NOT be wearing itty bitty miniskirts. And I look damn good in 'em but I'd rather die than wear one to work at my age. Can you imagine walking into a client's dressed like that? LOL I'd get in the door for sure -- but it's unlikely any clients would trust me to manage their marketing for the long term. BC_chick Posted June 8, 2007 Author Report Posted June 8, 2007 I think that seems to be a right wing thing. heh You're so bad. Quote It's kind of the worst thing that any humans could be doing at this time in human history. Other than that, it's fine." Bill Nye on Alberta Oil Sands

My advise for women at this time would be whatever makes it easier with out compromising your morals such as: sleeping your way to the top - NEVER DO THIS If you look good, and a short skirt makes it edgy, go for it...also make sure you have contingencies in place, some competencies, and lots of education, in fact twice as much as the darn men.... even then you probably won't make the same amounts of quids but at least you can have some fun Quote

But for most business it's only a start. That's the one thing alot of women don't get: it's not the size of your degree - it's how you use it Quote
