buffycat Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 Israeli army gets green light for Gaza ground ops I haven't vetted this with an Israeli source, but it seems the slaughter is on. I hope and pray that few are lost on both sides of this mutually dispicable act. Oh, and I will also point out that the above article has some errors wrt the dead Palestinian civilians - but hey it's CNN! Quote "An eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind" ~ Ghandi

Oh, and I will also point out that the above article has some errors wrt the dead Palestinian civilians - but hey it's CNN! Too much to hope that israel gets all the buggers and even too much to hope that the PA would learn to control their own ......on the otherhand the PA has never worried overly that the actions of their terrorists will endanger their own civilians.....and why would they? M.Dancer Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 Telling that some consider military actions to protect their citizens from indiscriminate rocket attacks, a dispicable act.....normal people consider the defense of kith and kin, heroic... scribblet Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 Telling that some consider military actions to protect their citizens from indiscriminate rocket attacks, a dispicable act.....normal people consider the defense of kith and kin, heroic... Extremely telling !! I suppose Israel is supposed to turn the other cheek and stand idly by while their citizens are slaughtered. Meanwhile Israel Helps its enemies as the rockets rain down on them. A Magen David Adom ambulance transferred an eight-day-old Palestinian baby from Gaza to the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer Sunday evening. This humanitarian act took place during one of the more difficult days in terms of Qassam launchings, during which a 36-year-old Oshri Oz was killed in Sderot http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7...405293,00.html Quote Hey Ho - Ontario Liberals Have to Go - Fight Wynne - save our province
buffycat Posted May 29, 2007 Author Report Posted May 29, 2007 Both sides have the right to defend themselves. But I know for you guys the Palestinians are simply animals and should be wiped from the face of the earth eh? Do you need reminding that Israel is occupying Palestinian lands illegally - and thus the Palestinians under international law are actually allowed to resisit that occupation? Also, these Quassams are the equivalent of a third graders' spitball - while the Israeli military might would be the equivalent of the teacher using and Uzi to take that third grader out. Oh, one more thing wrt the baby which was rescued - no one is saying that there are not Israelis who do care - anyways one baby saved amongst how many who have been killed through 'collateral' damages. Get a grip on the numbers - almost 1000 children have been killed by Israeli forces since 2000. No comparison. None. Quote "An eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind" ~ Ghandi

This act of compassion on Israel's part, will likely see that same baby carrying an ak 47, wear a bomb belt or push a button for kassam rockets about 10 years from now in order to slaughter Israelis. Figleaf Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 ...normal people consider the defense of kith and kin, heroic...... Yes, of course: -Persian defence of kith and kin in ancient Greece; -Italian defence of kith and kin in Ethiopia in the early 1940s; or -British defence of kith and kin in India in the 1800s for a few examples. Figleaf Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Do you need reminding that the Gaza is occupied by the Palestinians, not the Israelis?... How can you say these things with a straight face? Gaza is inhabited by Palestinians. It is Occupied (if half heartedly) by Israel. http://hrw.org/english/docs/2004/10/29/isrlpa9577.htm Now expalin again why Israel is dispicable for trying to protect their citizens? Which citizens, the one's that get to vote and own land, or the ones who have to pass checkpoints and get their houses bulldozed? Quote

What the date of that opinion piece? New York, October 29, 2004. How do any of those things effect the welfare of gaza? Nada, ziltgh. M.Dancer Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 This is the typical dodge of the left wing antisemite anti zionist, every country protects its border, especially countries whose neighbours have sworn to destroy them. Every country is given this right (if your palestinian, that right means suicide bombs, rocket attacks on villages......) every country except Jewish ones, that is...... Figleaf Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 I can only imagine the malicious round of insults and attacks M.Dancer has deployed in his latest post here. Let me see if I can guess ...he'll say I'm "dishonest" (even though he can't cite anything I have misrepresented), and I'm an "anti-semite" (even though I don't hold and have certainly never mentioned any bias against Jewish people). And, I suppose I'm an 'arrogant insulting ass' too (after all, I have committed the grave offence of disagreeing with M.Dancer). Have I missed anything? Quote

I don't see any bomb belts or anything in the video? i did however see the kid dressed as a graduating student... shocking!!! I don't have a translation. Gee, I saw young kids emulating terrorists, waving automatic guns, wearing ammunition belts etc. not ancient history but items worn today. I said - these children will probably be wearing suicide belts (etc.) in the future. Again you are trying to deflect from the issue at hand, not only that, but making light of how children are taught to hate and kill and glorify "jihad" but are taught that violence and death is part of their culture and destiny. The blind blind support of M.E. abuse towards women and inculcation of hate in children is unfathonable. It would be a great opportunity for people and the women's rights activists in the West to show the Iranian people where they stand on fundamental issues of freedom and human rights. Too bad you you don't agree with it. Your comments are a classic example of deflection of the debate from the salient issue. from the comments mahmoudsayed (1 month ago) marked as spam nice vedio Marked as spam maleksaifi (2 weeks ago) marked as spam allah akbarr mushtakuna ilikommmm uncledon570 (1 day ago) marked as spam Excellent! engahmed (1 day ago) marked as spam the jewish must be wiped from the earth. russianputin (1 day ago) marked as spam Jews must be killed and Israel must be destroy. mwe1967 (1 day ago) marked as spam Nice! sulkava (1 day ago) marked as spam cool engahmed (19 hours ago) marked as spam the jewish must be wiped from the earth.
