Topaz Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 Harper makes a point of Mulroney being the "Green" PM and yet this government hasn't DONE anything on the world program to Koyto. Conservatives were usually for business and this govt seems to be against them. Where is this guy's thinking?? Quote

Conservatives were usually for business and this govt seems to be against them. Where is this guy's thinking?? The Conservative plan is the best peice of environmental legislation we've ever had in Canada. Pretty sad, but it's true. The Liberals had no plan or legislation in place to meet Kyoto since signing it years ago. Your fooling yourself if you believe Dion and Chretien had any intention to meet the targets. They passed the buck to the next government (even they knew the Liberals would fall sometime) so that they could blame Harper and get reelected by hopefully gluible Canadians. Fortunately for them, it seems like their plan works when people like you criticise the CPC for not doing enough on someone else's problem. Don't expect that to change though by electing Dion. He had his chance as far as I'm concerned. Quote RealRisk.ca - (Latest Post: Prosecutors have no "Skin in the Game") --

Is that offensive religious speak an "ohh so clever" swipe at people of faith? Plummeting in the polls? The Conservatives are at 36%. The highest level they have hit is 40%. Do explain plummeting? The most flip flopping Government ever? Wasn't there a reason why Paul Martin was known as Mr. Dithers? Nice attack cynic. Our newest member of the hateocracy. Bravo. What does being green have to do with supporting Kyoto? Kyoto is trash, forget about it. Quote

If you wanted to have another discussion on Kyoto, why didn't you just put the header as: Another thread in which to discuss Kyoto. Your statement above has no indication on whether you think him more Alliance or More Conservative. Let alone Progressive Conservative. However, if I were a Liberal, I wouldn't be talking about the environment. Particularly the treaty they signed and yet did nothing to attempt to honour it. Quote
