I still don't think I have ever heard anyone answer the question: Who is going to staff the commitees if there are no Senators?

I would bet that 87% of that 87% couldn't even tell you what Senators do. 99.9% of government position hold no interest to the general public. Does that mean we should get rid of them, too?

I've watch the Senate, talk about the reform bill and they agree feel should be 12 years not 8 because it would take a person that long to know the job. Both, Cons and Libs agreed on this point. There is one point that has to be iron out is the election of senators and its not being the same time as a provincial or federal elections. If it were there only Cons and Libs would be elected but should the Bloc be part of the Senate??
