yes they should wait, an announcement is useless, people don't have to believe announcements, but will believe when they see a massive amount of troops coming home in planes to army bases on TV. Word out of the campaign school was that the primary reason for not goiong in the spring would be fatigue on the part of the grassroots.

A good summer of meet and greets will re-energize the essential volunteers. That's the biggest reason why I think we go in the fall.

How tight does Harper run his ship, there won't be too much that can go wrong. There won't be cataclysmic losses in A-stan, there isn't much else to go wrong, he'll let this whole budget thing blow over.
