Occam suggests that the simplest explanation is the most likely. This does not mean that the most simple minded explanation must be the most likely. Occams Razor does not mean that simple minded people are always right.

Occams Razor says that the simplest explanation is likely the most correct but this means of course the simplest explanation that explains the observations. Planes hitting the towers does not explain why they collapsed straight down into their own footprint at freefall speed and the molten metal present after the collapses. Controlled Demolition is the simplest explanation for all that.

But Occams Razor does not state that the simplest explanation is the correct explanation, it only says that it is the most likely explanation. Readers that accept Occams Razor as a fact must accept that CD is the only possible explanation. I'm not a fan of Occams Razor and believe it to be meaningless "junk logic" but it appears to be a guiding light for those who do not understand it.

I think its this misunderstanding of Occams Razor that is leading a lot of posters to try and be idiots all the time.

Hey, I'm just wondering what some of you are thinking the future holds for us in the next 10 years. You may write it down point form, a brief summary, cite or list movies, etc. But could we please have no commentary until several have been submitted (as not to get bogged down at 2 replies).

Canada will have another left leaning government.

Taxes will be higher.

Fuel costs will be higher.

Utility costs will be higher.

Governments will still throw money at health care and not solve the problem.

Governments will still throw money at education and people will complain about crowded classrooms.

Roads will still be falling apart.

Toronto will be three times as large.

Coal fired power plants will still be using coal.

Food will cost more.

In other words I believe there will simply be more of the same and in the end Canada may / may not have worked it's way out of mediocrity.

No it's not. I'm sure you've been told this countless times and blithely ignored it, but it's an impossibility. It takes weeks to wire a building for demolition, using big noisy impact drills and lots of spitting and swearing workmen with plumber's bum. Buildings don't get wired by shifty men in black slipping into the place in the dead of night and dropping nondescript gym bags in out of the way corners. No one ever reported anything like that. No one. Were they all bribed, along with the countless government agencies and Jewish plotmeisters and various banking cabals who also haven't breathed a word of it in 5 years?

Listen son, I know you think you're in possession of some illuminating TRVTH, but take another couple years in university, learn how Occam's razor really works, and I'm sure things will settle down for you. Maybe get a summer job on a construction crew and learn just how hard it is for crews of workmen to do a job quietly when polite society babes are walking by.

Not sure why this is in this thread, but I'm really not a leftist.

I couldn't care less if USA invades Iran and massacres every last person. In fact, Middle Eastern people respect a show of power and if USA didn't pussyfoot around in Iraq but instead adopted Russian tactics in Chechnya, the whole area would be pacified or dead by now. Let the strongest survive, and all that stuff.

Human history is one of bloodshed, pain and misery. No need to shy away from that now, might as well embrace it and remember that evolution comes through strife and those who are unworthy to continue will be defeated by those who are more adapted, even if they're weaker.

The only thing I have issue with is the blatant hypocrisy of some of my fellow USA citizens, who honestly believe that they're seeding democracy and .. well, no need to repeat myself. And those who believe that USA is somehow better than "brutal dictatorial regimes of the ME" when many of their tactics are adopted by our illustrious government as well, albeit in a more subtle form, so as to not disturb the simpletons too much.
