Clearly it isn't. But if the answer was so self evident to all of us poor clods outside the intelligence community in Washington DC, why didn't "the decider", who's got all kinds of information and advice at his fingertips, know this? It's kind of like someone who knows that a closet has been stuffed to the gills yet decides to pull the door open only to act shocked (shocked!) when a lifetime of amassed junk falls out all over the floor. So this violence today would have continued to happen, even if the United States hadn't invaded Iraq... As for the uninterrupted state of chronic warfare, doesn't that go to show that warfare hasn't resolved anything in the region if you truly believe that. When perls like "Saddam supported terrorists", "Iraqi people are free now", "Iraqi people live better now", "democracy reigns", "USA cares about human rights" start rolling in, you *KNOW* you're talking to an uneducated redneck at best, a fascist wannabe at worst. Oh and to the original poster..nice touch mentioning that USA is building a hospital in Fallujah. You forgot to mention that they're RE-building a hospital they destroyed with air strikes before.
