Leafless Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 I wonder if Stephane Dion would be proposing the same plan if Quebec was in the oil business? I can't see this plan being viable as the polluters are the ones that keep the Canadian economy healthy. It appears all provinces are not treated equally in this country. http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/stor...hub=CTVNewsAt11 Quote
Michael Bluth Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 Hmm, a new tax by January of 2008. That gives a lot of lead time for investment in projects and and bringing environmental technology online. I thought the Liberals didn't want an election this year? If so why are they proposing new laws to be implemented by January 1st? Quote No one has ever defeated the Liberals with a divided conservative family. - Hon. Jim Prentice
