margrace Posted February 19, 2007 Report Posted February 19, 2007 That is what is happening. In Ontario Mr. Harris's rant was that Ontario was open for business. Well the Wheat Board, The CRTC, CBC and Milk Boards will all be on the chopping block. And what it basically meant for Ontario was that Mr. Harris sold off everything he could get his hands on mostly to American business. He now sits on the Boards of at least 10 Companies. Do you have any idea what the spoiled little boy from North Bay now makes. We have, for instance a higway whose leasees own til 2099, that is just one example. Our high school, once rated one of the best in the province in now one of the worst. One girl said to me "why would I take home economics" there is nothing there to work with it has all been stripped. Quote

Can you explain to me what Mike Harris has to do with the wheat board, crtc, cbc et al? You are aware that Harris left office in 2002. And exactly WHAT did he or his govt sell off anyway? Quote

The boards should be on the chopping block, they stifle trade and are monopolies. Please provide proof that Harris sold everything he could to American companies ( as said, you do know he's not in office anymore don't you) Why shouldn't he sit on boards, bet you wish you could make the same money - and therein lies the rub - bitterness and jealousy towards anyone who makes more than you.
