Chemicals and these people are suffering from a psychological complex from years of abuse (being indoctrinated and lead to believe THIS life is meaningless compared to the afterlife, where they're certain to suffer horribly if they 'sin' and all of their friends of other religions will suffer terribly for not believing) as children, having parents force these beliefs upon them. Religion is a virus in our society, passing itself from one generation to the next.

I wasn't saying that we're bigger than Jesus or better than Jesus...I was just sayin...

I've walked on water, in fact I've cartwheeled on water it was no big deal... I'm sure in time Jesus got better at water skiing too.

anyone who impersonates a moral envelope without a meaning or willingness to do so, is trapping other parts of ther brain into a paradox loop of 'touched' and despair.

the teaching of a faith means that from the beginning they were gullible, so i do not believe faith causes faith, but i would argue that the meaning of a believe, as individualistically personal it may be, is just an adoption of a moral commonality that has been excepted by society.
