1967100 Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 Should the Green Party win seats in a future election (very possible) could it hold back the three major parties (Libs, Cons, NDP) enough to make the Bloc form a Minority Government should they win over 70 seats or sweep in Quebec? If so, I wonder what would happen? I.E. Bloc Quebecois- 75 Liberals- 68 Conservatives- 67 NDP- 57 Green- 41 Quote

jdobbin Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 We would probably see a coalition form among the other parties. No doubt. The example though which has BQ win all of Quebec and Greens winning that many seats is also pretty out there. Quote

cybercoma Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 Can someone help me out? I think I read 57 seats for the NDP. Am I seeing this right? Quote
jdobbin Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 The greens won't win a seat within the next decade. I wouldn't go that far. The leader might win in a riding that was specifically targeted. Quote
