frogs Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 It is necessary that all land and buildings that are not being used be donated as living space to interested parties. This discouragement would likely cause some Wal-Marts not to open in the first place. And would make people less desparate to work at Wal-Mart or its' like. Quote
jdobbin Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 I've been re-considering some of my thoughts on Wal-Mart from an anti-trust point of view. Harper's magazine write a lot on the subject this past summer. http://www.alternet.org/workplace/39251/ Considering how big the company has gotten, its ability to treat everyone as an extension of itself is inherently uncompetitive. Wal-Mart has gotten so huge that it complains that class action lawsuit against it is equally so huge as to be unmanageable. The court was having none of that though and now their gender bias lawsuit has passed to the next step. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17008884/ Quote
