JMH Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 I'm sorry folks, it's a crummy situation. Unfortunately, there is no "going back" on this one. We are a founding member of NATO and the UN. These organizations are what seperate us from U.S. foreign policy. The U.S. has treated Canada and our allies like dirt. The UN has been relegated to a laughable state. NATO and the UN must re-establish itself as THE GOVERNING WORLD BODY concerning conflict and humanitarian needs. The U.S. must never be permitted to recklessly destastabilize our planet again. Fool-hardy greed and deception; insults and inuendo; if your not with us ...........your with the terrorists.................expletive and then another expletive Mr. Bush.. Quote He that is good for making excuses is seldom good for anything else.

Will the steps anyone is proposing to fight "climate change" reduce a single temperature, by a single degree, at a single location? The mantra of "world opinion" or the views of the "international community" betrays flabby and weak reasoning (link).
fellowtraveller Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Sorry OP, but your premises are so flawed there s simply no starting point for comment. Quote The government should do something.

Topaz Posted September 29, 2006 Report Posted September 29, 2006 Well don't hold your breath! The US is pushing South Korea candidate as the next leader of the UN. The US seems to be making a habit of replacing people in high places to benefit them. Quote
