Possibly "Service Under Fire" badges such as the Americans have. Like our Pathfinder, Paratrooper, Diver badges. Soldiers are motivated more by pride than money. I say pay them more, award them more, cut out the surf and turf lunches for Liberals and give them all that with new equipment to boot.
