Then, after 100 years or so, you created finally a central bank: that at first test, f*ed up its role. In the 1960s, your federal government passed a law imposing rules on personal relations - overriding state laws. Nowadays, your federal government is buying faster than your country can produce new stuff. To be sustainable, America needs a federal consumption tax. Quote
