The way America sees it, there’s no point subsidizing the deadbeat. There are no economic or security incentive to do so. I’m not saying that it’s the right assessment long term, I’m simply stating the current zeitgeist. And as far as America see it, having “allies” who put protectionist trade barrier and expecting us to defend them at the cost of American blood and treasure is not going to fly. Deadbeats need to care more about their own lives than Americans okay. Oh and one more thing, a little extra salt for you deadbeats, we’re still the only good guy in town. So you got no one else who cares or is in a position to give you a better deal.

................... the U.S. is diminishing in global clout and definitely respect.

I would advise u to read history ......

On the other hand some would say it is better to be feared than respected.

Others are just embarrassed?

Post WWII and for 80 years thereafter, the U.S. was the head of a global empire ....crafted by genius ......... it made the U.S. rich beyond its wildest dreams in coin, influence and inspiration.

Ponder this, the next war will make the rubble bounce ......the 'free world' kept the peace - it was feared .........not because of the U.S. but because of it's global influence to coordinate the power and act together, united.

Read history, dude ................ I don't have the time or inclination to educate that level of ignorance.

Why are people still responding to this guy?  It's low effort, low-wit trolling.

That’s not the point. The point is we don’t care.

.........ah, no, the point is that the less a person knows, the more stubbornly they know it! 😄

I’m talking about the American perspective, we truly do not care outside the western hemisphere. Don’t be so sure it’s wrong either. You didn’t factor in demographics. Which is the underlying basis for economic and security. 2025-2035 was always going to be an inflection point away from the post world war 2 era when more retiree than consumer became a world wide phenomenon.

u don't get it, do u ............. the truth is that the U.S. cannot retain it's 'greatness'  by being isolationist.

Relax, other's will fill the vacuum ...... nay, they will exploit it.

It’s better to be feared than to be Canadian is the takeaway.
