August1991 Posted April 14 Report Posted April 14 1. I generally oppose this fixed date idea. I prefer the idea of a fixed mandate - five years max. 2. Milliard, Fréchette, PSPP. Duhaime - WhoTF? ==== PSPP and Duhaime I sorta know. Too short to know the others. Let's see. 1 Quote
August1991 Posted April 14 Author Report Posted April 14 With a bare Carney federal majority, I predict a strong PQ majority. The National Assembly has 125 seats. ==== On island, the QS may manage. I haven't looked at various ridings off island - but I suspect the CAQ will be devastated. 1 Quote
August1991 Posted May 7 Author Report Posted May 7 Red in Ottawa, Blue in Quebec. Off island Quebecers have a practical Norman sense. They will not vote for the PLQ - despite the change to Milliard - what a name! ==== I have not done the 125 riding numbers. IMHO, Fréchette does not change anything. Quote
500channelsurfer Posted May 29 Report Posted May 29 I see Milliard and PSSP being very business and economy-oriented, respectively. So Quebecers have a choice of four right-wing parties, and QS who are quite, arguably extreme, leftist. Personality of leader remains the major deciding factor, with even a majority PQ win not foreshadowing stronger support for seperatism. Quote
